"Save money or spend money you think that's the more correct way of life?"

When there's money in your pocket, you can easily spend it without thinking twice but after spending it you begin to calculate how you spent the money, because it look like a magic to you. Have you experienced this before? I have experience it personally several times.

I remember when I planned to buy a charger and I decided that when I received my salary, my first spending will be to get the charger but guess what, I spent on other things which I didn't even have it in mind. It's was when the money finish that I come to realised that I have overspent unnecessarily. That is the power of spending.

Saving

Now let talk about saving, after I fail to purchase on the first month, I tried again but this time, i bought a saving box, start saving to buy the charger, N50, N100 N200, N500, N1000. Within 1 month, I was able to afford the money for the charger which I bought. what am i trying to say?

Spending

Spending is very easy because as soon as the Money is with you, everything will look attractive to you, you might want to buy what you don't really need just because you like it at that time(impulse buying). It's good to have money and also to spend, but we should remember that anything that's OVER or TOO MUCH will also lead to disadvantages. I will explain some of the Disadvantages.

My experience

Here comes saving, my friend is earning fifty thousand per month which is about 125 steem. He is a mechanic and he's always complaining that if doesn't know how that money disappears within 2 week. I looked at me, a young boy, I laughed, because I know that as soon as he collected the salary, the next thing is to buy expensive clothes, send to girlfriend, even eating outside when there food at home.

I advice him to start saving, atleast out of that fifty thousand, he can transfer like five to ten thousand (5,000-10,000) to the savings account. Sometimes he will be calling me that my eearning is below his salary to send him money when he finished lavishing his monthly earning.

In this economy, if you say it's spending, the first question I will like to ask is, how do you get the money to spend? With the economy in my country, everyone is trying to manage what they have, that's where saving comes in, so consider my answer as: saving the better way to live. why do I choose saving, is it that I dont like spending, of course I do, everyone like to spend, but think about it, what will happen after you lavish the money. How do you plan for emergencies, what if there's urgent need of fund.

I believe that it's always good to think ahead of time because it will help use to plan our future. Let me give you a little highlight of over spending:

Let's assume @kidi40 want to buy a new smart phone when he cash out from steemit, but when he finally cash out, he spent the money on other things like buying shirt, until when the money is about to finish, he remembered that he's needed to buy a smart phone, he went to @boosj23 to borrow some money. How do we called this? A Debt.

Now @bossj23 gave him 3 week to repay the money, and within that 3 week @kidi40 couldn't be able to raise the money, how do we called it? anxiety and depression.

Imagine @alli001 spending his steem while everyone is saving for future, may be probably, steem price increases to 1$, Do you know what it means? He had missed the opportunity, whereby he could have grabbed it only if he had save.

Generally, what am trying to explain is that spending can lead to debt, to depression and anxiety and also to missing a great opportunity in the Future. Do you now see saving as an option?

♦️If I save, my mind will be at rest I because I know that I have something in place for emergency, that's to say, savings provide a financial safety net in case of unexpected expenses.

♦️Through saving I could afford the charger I mentioned earlier, I can also achieve short-term and long-term financial goals.

♦️Through saving I will develop the habit of saving more and spending less as well as budgeting and spending less than I earned.

In conclusion, it's good to spend to buy our basics needs, at the same time it also necessary to save as little as it is because we don't know what the future holds. To me, Saving is the best way to live.
