Afternoon walk, first around the shops and first stop in Conforama to look for shelves to hang in the bedroom because we are overwhelmed by my daughters' school books.
In these department stores where you can find everything from home furnishings to DIY items, appliances, kitchen and bathroom products, home decoration, in short, everything and more, it is difficult to get out of the shop with empty hands, something you can always find.

Passeggiata pomeridiana, prima in giro per negozi, prima tappa a Conforama per cercare delle mensole da appendere in cameretta perché siamo sommersi dai libri di scuola delle mie figlie.
In questi grandi magazzini in cui si trova di tutto dall'arredamento della casa all'oggettistica per il fai da te, elettrodomestici, prodotti per la cucina e per il bagno, decorazione per la casa, insomma di tutto e di più, difficile uscire dal negozio con le mani vuote, qualcosa si riesce sempre a trovare.

Given the effort of having toured all the departments of Conforama which will have an area of over 6000 square meters, and since I was with my daughters, the second stop could only be at McDonald's to get McFlurry ice cream, even if it would have taken something hot because it was cold outside, there must have been a maximum of 10 degrees.

Visto la fatica per aver girato tutti i reparti di Conforama che avrà una superficie di oltre 6000 mq, e visto che ero con le mie figlie, la seconda tappa non poteva che essere dal McDonald's per prendere il gelato McFlurry, anche se ci sarebbe voluto qualcosa di caldo perché fuori era freddo, ci saranno stati al massimo 10 gradi.

In addition to being cold, from 5 in the afternoon it immediately became dark so we walked a little longer through the main square of Pomezia before getting back in the car to go home.

Oltre a fare freddo, dalle 5 del pomeriggio è diventato subito buio quindi abbiamo passeggiato ancora un po' per la piazza principale di Pomezia prima di salire di nuovo in macchina per tornare a casa.

Unfortunately the photos are not fantastic, I took them a bit in a hurry with my Android, but I want to share them anyway because starting to find the Christmas decorations gave me a little joy, the colored lights and the typical decorations warmed me the heart in such a difficult, sad moment, it will not be the usual Christmas especially for people who have lost their loved ones due to Covid and all those who struggle in intensive care trying to defeat this damn virus.

Purtroppo le fotografie non sono fantastiche, le ho fatte un po' di fretta col mio Android, però voglio condividerle lo stesso perché cominciare a trovare gli addobbi natalizi mi ha messo un po' di allegria, le luci colorate e le decorazioni tipiche mi hanno scaldato il cuore in un momento così difficile, così triste, non sarà il solito Natale soprattutto per le persone che hanno perso i loro cari a causa del Covid e tutti coloro che lottano in terapia intensiva cercando di sconfiggere questo maledetto virus.

And children come to mind, after all Christmas is above all for them and this year it will be hard to find the Christmas atmosphere, yet they would need it after going through a lockdown closed in the house last March and all the restrictions of today that vary from region to region and that have upset their childhood and all the little things they were used to before.

E mi vengono in mente in bambini, il Natale in fondo è soprattutto per loro e quest'anno sarà dura ritrovare l'atmosfera natalizia, eppure ne avrebbero bisogno dopo aver passato un lockdown chiusi in casa a marzo scorso e tutte le restrizioni di oggi che variano da regione a regione e che hanno stravolto la loro infanzia e tutte le piccole cose a cui erano abituati prima.

Then comes the time to go home. All in the car in the warmth and on our way ..

Poi arriva il momento di tornare a casa. Tutte in macchina al calduccio e via per la nostra strada..
