Assalamu Alaikum everyone. I hope everyone is well by the grace of Allah, I am also well Alhamdulillah. Today I am really happy to participate in the fourth week of Steemit Challenge Season 31. This week I will be participating in the "Boina de jeans reciclado|| Las 3R-S31W4" competition organized by the respected teacher @lunasilver madam, thank you very much for organizing this great competition. I am happy to participate in this challenge. So let's start..!

♻️ I used all the old denim/jeans I had lying around the house to make this project. And here are the other things I needed:👇

• Old denim/jeans: 50 cm x 33 cm.
• For measuring: 30 cm and 15 cm diameter round mold.
• Equipment: Needle, thread and scissors.
• For marking: Tailor's chalk or small piece of soap.

Step 1:

✔ I carefully drew two circles on the denim fabric. The larger 30 cm circle is the main structure of the hat and a smaller 15 cm diameter circle in the middle is for the head size. Then I slowly cut the fabric with scissors and separated the jutes.

Step 2:

✔ At this stage, I used a blanket stitch to secure the middle circle with a needle and thread so that the thread wouldn't come out. Then I used a backstitch to secure the edges of the two main parts of the hat. While sewing, I really enjoyed the idea of ​​repurposing an abandoned item.

Step 3:

✔ Once the hat is sewn, I turn the fabric inside out and iron the hat very well for a nice finish.

Step 4:

✔ I cut a small piece of old denim jeans and sewed it, turned it inside out with a stick. Then I cut it down the middle of the beret and added a small piece of fabric right in the middle to maintain the denim 'tail' or fringe beret tradition, which gave it a professional look.

Alhamdulillah! The joy and confidence I feel after finally making and wearing a beret hat with my own hands for the first time is truly indescribable! Today, our discarded denim or jeans have taken on a wonderful fashion. But this elegant work made by my own hands for the first time really brought a magical feeling to my mind.

¿Estás usando materiales de desecho o retazos de telas para elaborar el proyecto de upcycling?

✔ Yes of course, I used a piece of my old jeans that I no longer wore. The main goal was to transform it into a beautiful hat instead of throwing it away through 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle). Alhamdulillah, I was finally able to make a beautiful hat using one of my old jeans.
