THE DIARY GAME : 17TH AUGUST 2020 : A PROBLEM I THOUGHT I SOLVED CHASING ME AGAIN.steemCreated with Sketch.

in Steem Africa4 years ago (edited)

Today was quite disappointing. Remember when I said I replaced my battery? It turns out the one I got just didn't cut it. It doesn't reach full capacity before it says it's fully charged. This really disappointed me as I thought I finally got rid of that problem.

On the Buoho-Afrancho road going for a 4 mile jog

I woke up early today at 5 a.m. I then dressed up and went for my morning run. I went for about 4 miles today : a mile more than I do. Since I did not go for any run on Sunday, I decided to do the extra mile to make up for lost time. It took me about 1 hour 50 minutes to complete this journey. I then returned back home around 7 a.m.

Then I took a quick bath, freshened up and dressed up. At times I prefer steeming with my laptop as it had a wider interface than the mobile phone. That's what I wanted to do this morning. However, I saw something really unexpected. My battery was still not fully charged.

Battery won't charge past 53%

It was still at 53%. I charged it throughout the night and forgot to unplug it before my run. So that percentage really came as a surprise to me. In fact, it should be fully charged by now.
I would call my friend whom I bought the battery from later in the day but I had to take breakfast first.

Bar for adjusting voting power

I took some tea and bread and logged on to steem for a while. I read a couple of diaries and engaged them as well. I then realised the bar for adjusting my voting power had appeared just as I read from the acievement 6 (Curation) from the achievement tasks.

It was now around 11 a.m. I then decided to call my friend and tell him about the battery problem. He told me to come but I know the traffic at hand so I push it to the next day. The earlier I leave, the less traffic I'm less likely to encounter.

Buying some fanyogo price: 1.2 cedis/ 1.02 steem

I took a walk along the road and met a fanyogo hawker. It's just like ice cream in a wraper instead of a cone. It's super awesome and very affordable. It's also not too sweet like their other products such as fan milk.

Watching the updates on the voter's registration exercise

In the evening, I was watching Atinka TV and they were showing the updates on the voter's registration exercise. It outlined the total number of people from each region. It came to no surprise that greater Accra had the majority of people to register with over 3.5 million voters. This is the most populated part of the country. The number doesn't really matter since the votes it's not dominated by a single party. This year's election is on November 3rd. All should participate in the exercise.

This concludes my diary for today. Thank you for your attention.

Wow a 4 mile run in the morning that is impressive, I also prefer to look at Steemit on the computer rather than on the phone infact I don't use Steemit on my phone I have heard some horror stories that people had their accounts compromised because they either lost their phone or it got stolen.

I'm always thinking of the safety of my account regarding the use of steem on my phone. Now that I've actually heard about those awful happenings, I will stick to using steem on my computer. Thanks a lot.

I went for about 4 miles today : a mile more than I do.

That's an impressive figure and if you are regularly persisting with the figure, then you are the winner in your state of physical and mental well-being.

I prefer steeming with my laptop as it had a wider interface than the mobile phone.

I always do it on my laptop and it gives more room and ease of engaging and having better control when I do so with a laptop.

The number doesn't really matter since the votes it's not dominated by a single party.

That sounds like well decentralized then.

Have a great day.

Steem on.

I even surprised myself with that distance (4 miles). It's very difficult and I was very happy when I was done. State winner will be quite the win though. I'll need a new set of lungs for that one [haha].

If you have a good set of lungs and a very good pair of knee and ankle then you can be a good in running a marathon.

Yes, I agree. Good lungs makes breath control easier. This boosts stamina when running which is key in a marathon. I think my knee and ankles are decent.

I've actually taken part in a half marathon (13.1 miles) before. It wasn't a small feat [haha] but I was able to finish. I hope to take part in a full marathon someday but will require lots of extra training.

Yes, that's correct.

Walking up early and going for a run is great. Good to see you keeping yourself fit. Lucky guy using laptop for Steeming 😀as i don't have one . ice-creams are my favorite too generally on Sunday evenings i have an ice-cream of Amul which is a famous Indian brand. And i wanted to ask you that can i submit a new post on my task of achievement 5 task 3 or should i edit the same and make changes please reply

You had a good day exercising and refreshing your self with some ice cream that was pretty cool.

That was the good part of the day :). Thanks for the comment.

You are really doing impressive work here for the Ghana Team. Keep growing always. You can recruit more people in Ghana to learn from you. Thanks once again for this Diary game, @steemghana-team
