The reunion following biblical principle

Do you remember that moment when you heard the word from a pastor and you decided to turn a new live? Doctrines are good and they help us keep to set standards and discipline ourselves. The effect of it brought about the union of these couples, couples who were initially bound together by love, though they already bore children for the past 16 years and probably this year they may or may not.

So to keep to the scriptural pattern that stressed the wrongness of taking someone's daughter to be with you for a lifetime without seeking consent from the parent, this beautiful couple embarked on a journey to fulfil all marital rights. The man was responsible for paying the dowry while the woman was there to support and encourage the husband financially and otherwise.

I don't think I was there when the dowry was paid and it was not done in a day, so I will be reporting what I witnessed live from my end. Events can be attended, invited or uninvited but in this case, I was, reason for the surety of the first and second paragraphs.

It started with praise and worship after the decoration team had finished their work, then proceeded to matching in of the couple, the couples are all police officers and the groom matching in was so captivating as he team of policemen came in by a parade, a tip-top, tip-top rhythmic movement which brought to reminiscence those days where I participated in my school inter-house sport match past and also the moment when celebrating the independence and children day at stadium or large green fields.

I felt like joining this force not the police force in particular but the military, the level of orderliness showcased here was unique. Later on, the oath was taken by the couple, the cake cut by the military sword, the signing of the marriage register, the dance session, all other processes occurred as in a normal marriage apart from the procession which took a military format.
