How time flies,No wonder they say time waits for nobody , the Nigerian national meetup of steemians was fixed on the 30th of November,2024. I was already making plans for it's success finally it came to pass .

I was supposed to attend church service before going for the meetup but I cancelled church so that I can get everything ready for my children at home in order to stay freely at the meetup.

Time was running so fast that I have to hesiten up . Having in mind of see different users from far and near was something I can't just imagine.

My arrival at the venue

Upon my arrival everywhere was filled with steemians on their blue polo printed with their usernames. I walked down straight to the auditorium where chairs was arranged. Noticed so many faces that I have been reviewing their post on steemit finally I got to meet them face to face.

I didn't forget my mentees,as Informed all of them to be in attendance to learn from our leaders.

_Steemians

The occasion started properly when the number of steemians was good enough. Our leaders started addressing us with what and how to make quality content and being unique . There lots of talk on why we are called steemians and why we should make use of every opportunity to stand out of the crowd on Steem blockchain.

@goodybest , unveiled the purpose of the learning challenge initiative by the steemit team and how helpful it has been to steemians including me. I can now do my makeup without assistance . Courtesy of steemit learning challenge.

She challenged Nigerian steemians to grab this opportunity to showcase their talent and also learn for free while receive rewards at the end.

The floor was open for newbies to share their worries.

But it seems their mentors are doing grate works, hence there were no much questions coming from them compared to when I joined.

Finally from the encouragement section. @xkool24 concluded by applauding Uyo steemians for coming out in mass.

The next section was exchange of gift / Surprise from our one and only cheerful giver @bossj23.

I don't know how to appreciate this gentleman bossj23 for this kind gesture. It was a surprise that I did not dream of . I'm using this Medium to say Big thanks to you bossj23,

Entertainment, dance and vote of thanks

Yummy food ,water and drinks was presented to everyone that was present. I was privileged to see my colleagues @ruthjoe ,@ninapenda ,@bonaventure @sahmie and so many other steemians that time will not permit me to mention. It was a meeting that I can not forget in a hurry. May God lead you all back to your various destinations. Amen.
