Rafting the Tieton River
Welcome again everyone! The following pictures are a compilation of two rafting trips I took on the Tieton River on the east side of the Cascade Mountain Range in Central Washington state. Every September a draw down of Rimrock Lake is started to make room for the next winter's rain and snow accumulation. This turns the river into a non stop white water adventure for miles. No real dangerous rapids but continuous rolling swift water that makes for a lot of enjoyment. 😀
The pictures in this installment were provided by Wet Planet Rafting and taken by a photographer unknown to me. The 2010 shots are with an unknown camera and low res. The 2014 shots were taken with a Canon EOS REBEL T1i. The GIF was created by me, @oldmans, using Imgflip.

In these shots I am in the back right of the raft with the blue helmet.
A celeration of a job well done. 😀
2014
A much sunnier day this time around. I'm the guy with the gray beard in these shots.
Hope you enjoyed the little trip and thanks for looking!

Of course I liked it. Photos are very bright, viewed with pleasure!
I especially liked the sunny day photos in 2014. 😀
I'm sure this junny was full of fun especially everyone being on the same boat.
The guides give you a few commands before you start the trip. So during the run you are kind of working as a team as he shouts out the commands. 😀
Wow! That's impressive. I can see the power of teamwork in the photos.
It works pretty well, especially since in most cases it's a group of people that just met each other.
