One Picture And One Story

Greetings everyone!
I trust you all are doing well in your various activities, may God continue to bless us all🙏.

My cute childhood friend🥰

The person on the picture above is my childhood and best friend Elijah❤️

Our friendship started since from our primary school days, I and Elijah attended the same primary school and we have been friends since from nursery class. When we got to primary section, primary five to be precised and Elijah was given the head boy of the school and I became the head girl.

My bond and Elijah became so strong after we were given the same position in school. Myself and Elijah will always sit together to read, we eat together, infact, we practically does everything together. Our classmates envied our friendship so much, our friendship was so strong to an extent that our teachers suspected that something was going on between us.

I and Elijah graduated from primary school as best of friends and we still went to the same secondary school. Our friendship became even more stronger in secondary school, because at this point, we were abit more matured. I and Elijah were sit mate since from JSS 1 to SSS 1 where we were separated because we had different choices of career.

Elijah went to science class and myself went to commercial class, despite the fact that we weren't in the same class, we never stopped bonding so well. We still graduated from secondary school as best of friends. After SSCE examination,, we couldn't get to see each other often as we used to again.

But guess what?? That did not affect our friendship at all,, we make calls often and there is no day that passes us by without hearing from each other. Daily chats and calls became a habit for us, to the extent that if a day passes by without hearing from him,, it usually feels like my day isn't complete and it's same with him, he hardly go a day without hearing from me.

Till date, I and Elijah are still best friends and what really amazes me is the fact that our friendship and bond keeps getting stronger by each passing day. I love Elijah as a friend so much and I have learned a lot of things from him as well. And I guess,, he has learned a lot from me as well. Sharing of our dreams, fears and secrets has become part of our friendship.

Elijah will always give me listening ears and will as well provide a shoulder for me to lean on each time I am stranded and need help. His encouragement and advice is another thing I don't even want to talk about. He has thought me the value of loyalty, how important it is to treat people with empathy and he has practically shown me what unconditional love really means.

As I look forward to the future,, I am so certain that our friendship and bond will keep growing stronger and bigger everyday. New challenges will be faced fearlessly and new unforgettable memories will be created together. We started just as childhood friends but to be honest,, Elijah has turned out to be more than just a friend, He is a brother, confidante and so much more.

I am so grateful for the day our paths crossed in our primary school days, and I will forever be grateful for our friendship. My friendship and bond with Elijah is one that I cannot trade for anything in this life and even in the next life. I will gladly choose Elijah as my best friend even in my next life. I Love You Now And Forever My Dearest Friend 🥰
