Dear Diary,

I wake up at 3:30 AM to have Sehri. It was raining outside and I thought it would stop after a while. Then I went back to sleep and woke up to find that the rain had not stopped. There was light wind and drizzle. I went to my balcony and took pictures of the rainy scene outside. As there was no torrential rain, the leaves of the plants were lightly wet and no rainwater entered my balcony. I have several plants on my balcony, I thought the rain would make them look fresher. After taking photos from my balcony, I did some photography from my sister's room. I take a photo of raindrops using my phone's macro camera.

During the month of Ramadan, there is not much activity throughout the day. But preparations for making Iftar are started from afternoon. Iftar consists of several items which are traditional food of our country and this type of Iftar is prepared in every house during Ramadan. I went to the kitchen to help my sister prepare iftar and found her preparing to cook Birani. I couldn't take step by step biryani recipe pictures as she was almost done cooking. Then I picture the rice, cooked beef and some masalas for the Birani. My sister cooks delicious biriyani .

Then I peel the boiled eggs to make egg chops for iftar. These eggs are boiled in pressure cooker so two eggs are cracked. I cut the remaining three eggs in half. I will make egg chops with these half eggs. Many of you may be familiar with this egg chop. As egg chops are delicious in Ramadan, we should eat an egg after fasting the whole day.

Then I took the eggplant out of the fridge and sliced it thinly. These will be used to make "beguni". I cut the eggplants and sprinkle a little salt on them and keep them. You can see in the picture that I thinly cut the eggplant. Leter fry them in oil.

My sister cooked chickpeas first. Then we put them on everyone's plate and we prepare our iftari. Today's iftar items were these along with juice and dates.

At night I play with my nephew for a while. My nephew is only two years old and loves playing with these toys. I really like his dragon car. I took a picture of this car to present to you. While I was photographing this dragon car, my nephew came and gave me one of his cars and asked me to take pictures. He also mentioned a name of his car which I have forgotten at the moment. He opens both the car doors to take pictures. Then when I finished taking pictures, he took the car and left.

In dinner I have biryani again. Biryani is my very favorite food. I think this is everyone's favorite dish, not just mine. After dinner I drink Pepsi. Although we don't drink pepsi but yesterday there was no other soft drink available in the store except pepsi so forced to buy pepsi. Then we all drink Pepsi together.

After drinking Pepsi, I watch YouTube videos on mobile for a while. While scrolling through the video I came across a video uploaded by a very popular food blogger in our country where he reviewed an Iftar worth 53 thousand BD or 2120 Steem, which he bought from a reputed restaurant. Here you have to order minimum 50000 BDT or 2000 Steem iftar. They don't accept orders below this budget. I ended up watching his entire video. The name of this popular food blogger is Rafsan the Choto vai (younger brother).
