Trying Recipes From Around Steemit! {Or the Culinary Version of #womancrushwednesday}
First up is one I made quite a while back from the queen of green smoothies @amy-goodrich. She is also fantastic at turning some of that vibrant green stuff into delicious treats. I meant to share this one a while back to pay homage to her skills, but better late than never. This was a slight variation on her Frozen Mojito Avocado Tartlet recipe that you can find here: https://steemit.com/food/@amy-goodrich/vegan-dessert-or-frozen-mojito-avocado-tartlet-gluten-and-sugar-free
It was excellent! Not too sweet but still rich and creamy. The best part was how easy it was to put together. I opted to make it in a pie plate instead of individual tarts, but otherwise only adjusted a few tiny things based on what I had in my kitchen. I highly recommend giving it a try!
Next up is the wonderfully positive @birdsinparadise and her take on English muffins. I have been wanting to try to make more of my own bread at home, and though this isn't a traditional loaf option anything you can use as a base for a delicious spread is ok by me! Despite the applesauce, they are not overly sweet so I could see going sweet or savory for a topping.
We still had some of my homemade strawberry chia jam to slather on top this time around, though @birdsinparadise shares a yummy blueberry option in her recipe post here: https://steemit.com/steemusa/@birdsinparadise/the-birds-are-on-the-road-its-a-blueberry-morning-start-your-day-in-a-healthy-way. It was another really easy recipe to recreate in my own kitchen. I love cooking and meal prepping, but it is rare that I make something really involved and time consuming. Health and good flavor comes first, but easy is not far behind on my priority list. ;)
Last up is @cooknbakes Cranberry Sprinkle Crackers, which I just made yesterday. I omitted the cranberries and added dried rosemary to mine. My seed choice was a mixture of hemp and pumpkin seeds to add lots of nutritional value as well as great texture. Her original post is here: https://steemit.com/vegan/@cooknbake/cranberry-sprinkle-crackers-recipe-cooknbake
Yep, another super easy recipe to recreate! I love how simple it is to change out the flavors--there are tons of combinations I want to try out now. I have a hard time finding crackers without oil, so these are perfect for me to still have something crispy to dip in my homemade dips. This combination was delicious with my lima bean dip I made this week, as well.
Some of the original recipe posts are past the payout date, so if you missed any of these the first time around check them out but give an upvote on a more recent post of these ladies if you like what you see. I know even the simplest of recipes can take time and energy to create, photograph and share so support is always welcomed!
I am sure I will find more goodies to try in the coming weeks, so keep the good stuff coming everyone! ;)

That is a great idea to support others by trying their recipes and posting about your experiences! I will try something similar as soon as I have a bit more time.
Thank you for sharing and introducing me to new people here. I like recommendations of others so I really appreciate your post!
Have a lovely day!
I learned how to cook mostly from trying other people's recipes first, so I am always happy to support other when I get a chance. And I know I like seeing when other people have tried recipes and like them, too. :)
Happy to share some folks you may not have come across yet! I sometimes miss recipes, also, so it is nice to put them back out in case someone else missed them. :)

So easy! I'm sure I will be making them again. It's easy to get caught up in always trying to put out new content, but I think it's just as valuable to support others and actually put some of these great recipes to good use! 😁
Love the idea of trying other peoples recipes! Greta documentation too! :-)
