🌲 The Christmas Tree is here!

I walked over the Wuerzburg Market Place and look what I uncovered: they erected the Christmas Tree already! A wonderful huge beautiful tree right next to the Chapel! Still pure and green and undecorated. The Market Place is where the Wuerzburg Weihnachtsmarkt takes place all Advent season long. It is a beautiful Christmas Market with lots of lights and stands and music, the air filled with the aromas of food and sweets and mulled wine.

I'll keep you updated and post a picture of the illuminated tree in December. This is my contribution to #TreeTuesday - initiated by @old-guy-photos. 🌲

Whew! Ha! Yes, you're right! But there is a deep hole in the ground, prepared to insert the trunk of of every years Christmas Tree. I wouldn't want to stand close by otherwise ... 😆

How lovely, and how big it is! My ancestry is German and many of my families Christmas traditions are handed down from the generations! I will look forward to seeing your Christmas!
