MOI Koggala By DBI

Even though we notice number of beautiful resorts and hotels from Tik Tok and facebook when we want to visit it is difficult to choose a place. Harith and I also wanted to spend a relaxing weekend, so we were checking for the best place.

We wanted a good full board deal at a calm location which was also not on the seaside. We searched for plenty of places but nothing fitted our expectations.

Three days prior to the planned days, suddenly I saw a sponsored post on fb on this hotel called MOI Koggala DBI. This hotel also known as Hotel Chari Lake

When we checked details, it had pretty good reviews and also the view. The hotel is located in front of Koggala Lake which was the first reason we love it.

We were able to make a reservation for their suit which had the widest view of the lake and garden.

To reach the hotel we had to travel off the main road for some distance, but the road was very good.

The place was less busy when we got there. So we got a good welcome.

First we were taken to the room and they served us a Kirala drink with curd and trickle there.

Actually, it was a good experience, especially the kirala drink. Our suite had a wide balcony with 180° view of the lake. The room was also wide and there was a glass window along the balcony in a way that we could enjoy the view from the room also.

The bathroom was built in a open manner where you can also enjoy the view from there. Altogether, the room was super comfortable, big and clean.

They had a infinity pool facing to the lake. Also, a hut was created on top of Kadolana trees. The garden was also well managed.

In the evening, we spent a quality time at the pool. We had more space as no one was using the pool at that time.

When it comes to evening, the place becomes so attractive.
