Great Barrier Reef, Rottnest Island - Fish, Sea Lion & Turtles - Underwater photo series
To all Steemers and Divers,
this will be another weekly photoseries of mine, next to my normal travel photo series!
Since I am a licensed diver, hobby snorkler and free diver (in Training), I would like to share some photos & a short video about my encounter with some turtles, sea lions and some fish.
Wildlife in Australia is just awesome and lucky me I encountered some Manta Rays, Sting Rays, cool fish, Dolphins, sharks, octopus, turtles, sea lions, whalesharks and more along my travels. So here is my first underwater photoseries+ video!
In the video you can see some sea lions playing with the current underwater at around 40 seconds, if you don't plan on watching the whole video! :)
If there is more interest I will upload another video while playing catch me if you can! :)
Are there any other divers under you Steemers? You got any encounters with some underwater wildlife to share? Which places do you count to your all time favorite dive & snorkel spots? I really would love to see some photos of your underwater experience! If you got any post them under the comments!
My next Underwater photo series will be with an encounter with whalesharks and some Manta Rays! Hope all of you enjoyed it! No Wildlife came to harm, they were playing with me and came up to me first! These underwater encounters count to my alltime favorites!
Hope all of you enjoyed this post. Let me know down under!(tried to be funny if you get it) ;)
Steem on,
Stephen

Really beautiful photos. Very nice.
I love scuba diving! Turtles are among my favorites! Great post!
thanks :) where did you go scuba diving till now?
Mainly in the Caribbean, red sea in Egypt and the Gulf of Aqaba in Jordan. Belgium was too cold and in Cambodia, there is nothing to see. During Vietnam war, US bombed Cambodian coastline and killed all the corals. Overfishing is also an issue here. Miss it so much! It has been almost 2 years now! But planning a trip to Thailand to go dive in a few months.... What are your favorite spots?
Wow you've been around a lot too :) I myself haven't been diving in cold waters yet :D my favorite spots were Indonesia 30 min from Bali by boat there is an island called nusa penida, it was amazing there not touristy at all and the reef was cool! Saw some Mantarays & Sunfish! Pretty cool :) the Great Barrier Reef was also amazing and the Philipines... I didn't like Thailand so much but maybe it was just the place where I went to... I mean Thailand is big :D
following you :)

This is awesome! I would love to learn how to dive. There is a whole other world beneath the sea and it would be incredible to explore :)
You should definitely! It's awesome! You're missing out on some of the most beautiful places on earth if not :) but I mean snorkeling should be good enough, I was snorkeling in these photos :)
