Red hat, fish and yellow high heels - a surrealistic approach to under water travel
Contains mild nudity... should be safe for work with most jobs, like... 👩🚀🎅🕵️♀️
This painting is a sort of hybrid, digitally colored based on a traditional drawing. The thing that sticks out, is the red hat, therefore the title "cappello rosso"
I already showed you another version here,
based on the same drawing, but a different context.
This time I added a well populated underwater world, with a sort of psychedelic feel to it

That shit's damn cool. We just signed up for Steem and are trying to figure this all out, then ran across your badass painting.

Hey, glad you like it! Haven't been here very long and am still learning. Looking forward for your future posts :-)
This a fabulous piece of work : )
It thrills me when I see such quality.
Restores my faith in art when I see work like this.
I love the styles slight surrealist feel to it.
Most cordial thanks. Your own work is truly magnificent and therefore I feel very honored by your kind compliments.
very trippy!
Colorintense work - and as I read one of your comments on an art work which expressed how a drug trip might feel this also reminded me on a psychodelic related topic. During my wide Internet search of unusual experiences, shown by all kinds of people, I found a young adult who described his LSD journey in length and depth, using images and his recorded voice.
Your artwork has renewed my memory of that. In particular because there was a lot of humor I felt listening the guys story and now watching your art peace. For some reason it tickles a silly feeling. Maybe it's the fish with fingers as a tail.
hahaha.. yes, people have asked me a few times, what kind of drugs I take... well, none to be honest. Except for an occasional cigar and a nice whiskey or rum to celebrate a finished painting.
A certain amount of humor is important to me, just like a few other things to spice up life :-)
Another great one from you!!
Can i ask you something?
You too probably spent lot's of times for years to become this good. I wonder how much did you practice drawing, and what kind of reference did you use? And the bonus question is - Who was your most admired artist back then, and now ? :-) ( you don't mind do you? )
Well first of all, thank you for calling my work good... to me that's the ever present challenge and therefore I think everybody who is serious about their art always tries to improve. After decades of practice, I'm slowly getting a vague idea of where I want to go..
My style has changed over the years and thus the references. I have worked with models just like pure imagination, whatever I feel is best for a given situation.
Bonus answer... too many to mention. An early influence definitely was Max Ernst. Today its not just a single artist, as I like a wide variety of styles, from old master to modern day avant garde... as long as it really moves me :-)
i understand. Thank You ! :-)
Truly a piece worth watching... Its amazing how a single art picture can generate so many thoughts in our minds.... WOW
Thanks a lot, I'm glad it inspired you like that :-)
Welcome
Ja ist des süß worn - ganz bezaubernd :-) Kompliment an den Künstler
Dank Dir recht schön :-)
This is truly fantastic work. So thought provoking as well as provocative. As usual, you deliver winners.
