"My photo album as a woman"

Hello friends

In my local country's tongue we always say bottom pot sweet pass, Do you know what that means? It simply means as engagement challenge season 16 draws to an end, the topic crowns it all as it is most interesting to me

Life is in process and making progress in life is once ultimate purpose. Imagine having a child that is not growing, you will definitely feel sad.

This simply means growth takes place in our lives even though sometimes we don't see it but you know what? Pictures helps us not only save memories but compare how much we have grown within the years.

Today I have 5 pictures of how much progress I have made in life. You call call it my photo Album as a woman

mangu orientation camp what3words

There is something called Nysc in my country. It means national youth service corps. It is a one year program that the country has organized for all graduates to serve the nation and prepare them for the real world after school.

I have always desired to serve or do my Nysc as a young lady. And my dream came through when I was finally posted to Nysc camp to do my one year service year 2015 So this picture was the first picture I took in Nysc camp in a state called plateau. The name of this place is called mangu orientation camp. A place where corp members are given orientation about what to expect in the one year of service and how to abide by it. We are also passed through some forms of physical training.

My photo 2 was taken in 2016 when I just finished my Nysc of one year. I got so slim that my friend was not happy with my loss of weight. She took me out for shopping that very day so that I can buy whatever I wanted.

She just wanted to make sure I added some flesh hahaha! This picture reminds me that someone can genuinely love and care for my well-being aside family by blood. My friend lives me so much.

My photo 3 was taken in 2019 when I recently moved into another city. I was transferred by my boss to another city and the first day I reported for a meeting with him in that city I decided to take a picture just to keep the memories going.

I looked so beautiful and so young isn't it? Comparing this picture with how I looked now, I could see a whole lot of difference. How time flies.

Oracle Agency what3words

My Photo 4 is a picture of me and my team mate on a contract job I did with Google in the city of Lagos in 2020 after the covid.

I was employed by Google under an agency called Oracle. This was my first contract job ever and it was a fun experience for me even tho it was a stressful job because we were to promote a particular app that was newly developed.

I remember going through series of trainings under the rain and sun just to keep this job. But at the end it was a success. I kept that picture safe so that I can always look back at where I began from.

Community primary school Amakohia What3words

I love photo 5 so much because it reminds me of the beautiful moments I spent with baby Zoey, my friend's child.

This picture was taken last year which 2023. On that day we went to cast our vote in my country for presidential election. My polling unit for the election was a school called community primary school Amakohia

I remember staying in the car with baby so that her parents could check if the environment was conductive for the baby to come out because there was a prediction of violence during the election.

Now Zoey is a big girl and doesn't need anyone to carry her on the body. I miss her so much.
