It is just like when your mother understands you really well. When you're angry, she knows to give you some space and let you be. Then, when you've calmed down, she comes back and talks to you, and you're willing to listen.
When you understand someone well, you know their likes, dislikes, and what triggers their anger. So, you try your best to avoid situations that might upset them.
I completely agree with you that there are people we understand very well, and we're the only ones who know how to prevent them from getting into conflicts. When you have a deep understanding of someone, it creates a sense of freedom and comfort in your relationship. It helps strengthen the bond between you and keeps you safe from anything that could lead to conflict.
