The reading community unite.

The world as we know it today has undergone tremendous changes, especially in the last two decades or so. One change has been the decline of the reading habit, as reported frequently, due to the agents of electronic communication. This may be true, but for true lovers of the written word the love affair with good books is one that will always continue. The spell cast by a good writer is difficult to snap out of. The proof, as it were, lies in the number of books being sold by the best selling writers whose works are eagerly awaited by their fans-witness Harry Potter mania among the young even in the present time and other acclaimed authors. So, the news about reading habits is not really alarming!

To contribute our own bit to the literary world, we should make our younger generation exposed to the wonderful and mind boggling world of reading. Where your best friend can be a fictional character traveling the world. You can just imagine and feel the environment around the whole story. Readers should start a library around their community and donate books where a young child can borrow a book and start their path to becoming an avid reader and look at the world differently. We need some kind of initiative and start a campaign to which would benefit the social community and upcoming generation.
