Got Firewood!!!!🤗
The Squirrels are stashing walnuts everywhere…….
They know Fall will soon be here, and Winter shortly after!
Silvertop is starting to feel the urgency as well! The Mrs wants me to focus on remodeling the house, and not on cutting and splitting firewood!🥰
This time of year firewood is fairly cheep, especially if you already have plenty of seasoned wood, and buy newly split wood.
I hardly burned any wood last year, I have plenty, so……. …..
I just had 2 1/2 cords delivered and dumped next to my already full wood shed!😇
That was my early morning…….
The man delivering the firewood said he always gets up at 3:00 AM!😳
“Liz we better get up early Lol!”😲
With a large pile of wood dumped in the side yard, it was time to take another road trip to the foothills town of Kendall. This part of country is dotted with secluded homes, tucked into the foothills. Many well hidden, most with gates. It’s one of the gateways to the Mountains, and even on this August day it has that remote Mountain feeling in the air!
What’s up Silvertop, why the trip today??
The only place to get the latest two TV series we are watching is either buy these on Amazon or the local Kendall library… Can you say free Lol!🤣
It turned out the this branch of the local library was closed today…..
“ahh ….but it was a nice drive into the foothill Liz!”🥰
Back home Jan joined us for a seven mile hike on our favorite hiking trails on Sumas Mountain. She was telling Liz it won’t be long before a hike at this time of day will be in the dark!😳
Hmmm……. Silvertop is in denial I think it’s still Spring Lol!😇
