Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 13/9/2024, under the hood it's been a 7 year project.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content, plus I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller events.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price and recent Steemit changes for over 7 years.

There as never been a single power down made on this account since that time "7 years", our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. All this rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earned rewards.

I'm sure we all want a better future for Steem and so casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all. Most of the players in the crypto sphere are only here for some quick and shady profits before they just decide to get up and disappear but we have been here for the long run and would like to see Steem remained a strong and reliable token.

Sept 2024-Bitcoin reached over "70.000" again on June 4th and so the high season isn't done just yet. But when is it likely to finish? When it reached 50k? I still thought we would of seen it fall further down but maybe we won't. And so who knows when the bullrun will be truly over, but 30k would be a good mark, I mention bitcoin because it can be a indication on the direction that Steem will follow. However sadly not a lot of movement from our own token this season, perhaps we have to be more patient as we wait on another possible alt coin season. But what this means for now is that Steem itself is still wide open price wise for the smart and smaller investors👍. Last night I went to sleep just over the usual late hour, this was mostly due to watching a video on one of the retros while trying to organise them. When I did try to reach slumber there was some difficulty to sleep but not much, what disturbed me most was the cold but I was already somewhat prepared for it. Once sleeping I woke-up only to my scheduled alarm which is what I want. The alarm was set for in-between the hours I usually start, this is to try and help me get my sleeping routine back on track. Most mornings I rested past the alarm which I think as been slowly happening because of the cold but I couldn't rest for any longer today. As for the weather this morning it's similar to yesterday, in the sense that we have a mostly clear sky with lots of sunshine. But temperature wise there was no heat, it turned cold 4 days ago and it remains that way😡. Normally during the afternoon it gets a little too hot, but like the past few days I don't think it will happen, perhaps only at the weekend now. The reason for not having time to rest for longer this morning is because I had to get into work soon. This gave me just enough time to get a few quick things done which I initially didn't think I would of been able to. Thankfully I believe most of what I needed doing for my trip as already been done, there are of course still a few little things left. I wanted to start preparing for it early, the reason for doing this is to not panic about it later when I know I won't have as much time. Especially as work gets often in the way, just the small last minute things to pack, and that's the scary part, not to forget any of those things haha. Still not feeling myself today, see on the way to see friends yesterday I wasn't too confident as it already rained "twice" and I was right, it started to rain and within seconds it turned into almost tornado like weather which I got caught in. The whole day was also very cold and I admit to feeling a little run down the day before due to the cold, I just hope I don't get fully unwell for when I go and visit my father. Still I made it to my friends that day and they told me stories about their trip, however I expected there to be more. Especially as they have never been away this long before, I think some part of it can be down to phones, since some things were already shared via the phone it would make sense that there is less to tell. But I must admit I do miss those long evening conversations that we would have, whether it be with friends or family about their trips and adventures. I feel that technology as indeed somewhat killed that moment in some way. I guess because we are sharing things "in the moment" now and so it's not one big story anymore when we get back. But those who are capturing the moment to share.. are they really living in the moment? See many have described and reported that when looking back at those moments they felt like they were not truly present or connected to the experience. I guess it's something to think about. When my free time was up I skipped breakfast as I would get something at work, before leaving I changed, got my bag set and then myself ready for work. On the way I finally took some of the cardboard I was keeping. What was the carboard for? It was for some of the cats to play with, however I'm confident they will rather enjoy the "new bigger" carboard box. I was also surprised and very happy to see the sun felt much stronger this morning perhaps it will hopefully be enough to warm us up🙏. When I arrived to work I saw the guy who normally wants me to do cover work, so I asked him if he needed me to do that? He said he was going home which means I can just get on with work. Making my way to my floor I spoke to one of my colleagues who was just starting. He looked beat and soon told me he was tired, he also mentioned that the past few nights have been freezing and that he as slept in he's robe because it was that cold. That kind of made me feel better that I wasn't the only one who thought it felt overly cold suddenly. While I didn't ask I feel he might of been also feeling a little low due to the cold as he is usually more energetic. Later I was assigned a task with the same guy I just spoke about which involved moving things from my floor to the lower one. This is if course another move towards closing down the floor I work on which saddens me greatly. Once that was done I was given one more task before I could escape and again I was working with the same guy and trying to get it completed. I feel he over-complicated the task leading to some delays and so from my end it was not fully completed. It seemed bad but that's not a problem because in the end he didn't even start on he's part. So I got another guy to finish the last part as it was time for me to go home. The guy who I asked to finish the task for me didn't let me go without scrutinising how lucky I 'am to be off and going to see my father. He wished me a good journey I thanked him and told him I'm sure he will too enjoy time off work in future. I was glad to get out as I was not happy doing any work that involves shutting down the floor I work on, plus I was hoping that being outside would make me feel better. The weather was somewhat surprising, the sun was out and strong enough to make it feel hot, so I took it a little slower getting home. It still didn't make me feel any better but I was just clad it wasn't going to be so cold for the rest of the day. I got home and started with doing a few chores as I would be meeting with friends online soon. They did come online but they were late and without good reason. As for the quick work-out I did complete mine yesterday after posting on Steemit so I might do that again but honestly I'm beginning to feel a little worse again so might not. Lastly I started to prepared dinner, it was a little too late for me to check to see if my father needed to call me, and after I settled-in for the night. As for Steemit.com 📊 like I mentioned there was some progress on updating the look of the Steemit.com website to something more "modern". The changes aren't anything drastic thankfully, you can now experience this yourself as the updates are live. For me personally I feel like it helps certain things stand out more, however I still feel like navigation could be improved. Onwards there as been mostly promises of war happening everywhere, such a war in this day and age will be devastating and so we must continue to work to remain at peace and not fight in wars that don't belong to us.
