Good day Steemian and welcome to today's Steem price update for 17/9/2021.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price's and recent STEEM changes for now over 4 years.

If you tire of addictively looking at the charts every few minutes then instead just relax and look here for the average daily STEEM price for your daily plan or strategy.
And even if you are not planning to do anything with your STEEM I still recommend checking out these updates every so often.
So without further ado lets take a look at today's Daily Steem Price for 17/9/2021.

Missed the price update the other day as I went to a party, it was a high end party with supposedly some very smart people with connections to high places. There was even a guy who was discovered to be a actual Prince and another who's father works under the CEO of a very well known world wide cosmetics and skin care company. And while all that sounds great there was definitely an air of arrogance from most as their conversations consisted of little else but their high costing degrees and how they plan on moving up the ladder into even higher paying jobs. Still it was amusing to see some of these guys letting their hair down for the day which in order to do consisted of drinking lots of alcohol. Sadly instead of being able to connect with each-other they instead turned into dancing monkeys struggling to string a sentence together, they even broke all the plants and pots on a upstairs terrace. The hostess also seemed more interested in chasing up what she wanted rather mingle with other guests. Still if your curious I did talk about Steem to most of the people who managed to conversate with me, that's right I still continue to conversate with people I meet about Steem, heck I reckon even if just one of these people invested properly into Steem it would make the price go up. Anyways being in September now I couldn't help but wonder what had happened to all the summer weather that we never got?.. It's probably been one of the worst years for a decent summer and from what I have read from other users on here it's been similar for many. Still perhaps I shouldn't complain as I have not suffered too badly with hayfever this year. Strangely in this first half of the month we started receiving some of our missing summer weather... I guess it's not the first time this as happened and so I did expect some hot days in September. Since one of my superiors left the company I have worked less volatile shifts and I can't even express how much that improved many things for me. But I felt this was coming to it's end as shifts began getting slightly volatile, instead this turned out to be the end of something much more. I mentioned a few things in the past weeks which I guess were the warning signs. And so it was towards the end of August when my boss called me announcing the company that I work for will be closing 😱!! yikes! He did however say they are going to try and find "some" of us work, but there's no guarantee that any of us can find employment any where else within the company. Hearing the news at first I felt uneased but soon after it was more a feeling of excitement for what might be around the corner. Sometimes I don't think the whole situation as fully sunk in. But then again as of last week we had 3 really good people leave for other jobs and I wont deny that them leaving did put a downer on me, guess it's the realisation it's all coming slowly to it's end. This situation for me could either be a good thing or a complete disaster. I continue to plan my next move as more information becomes available but can't deny this is a misfortune as it ruins many set plans, as not knowing what the future holds places some uncomfortable road blocks. Not only that but it's been confusing and stressful thinking about all the available options and what would be best for my situation. The possible relocation gave me some hope but that came crashing down but that does at least confirm that those who are staying on ship will be there until the last days of November. Perhaps even a little longer because of help needed for it's actual closing and clear up which could take 2 additional weeks of work. I learn today that the location I want and need to be able to continue with company is also one in which many of my colleagues will be trying to get into, this is unfortunate as it means we will be all fighting each other in the end for a seat. And so today I obviously had work and was surprised to be doing such late shift, this is most annoying because I learnt the following day I'm in on the early... I hate went they do this dirt. But apart from that my boss had already left so it was a easy shift. After work I have been taking the longer way home, I didn't again today as I already finished my shift late. Anyway the point is since these lockdowns regardless of still working during them I noticed some personal weight gain, and so I have continued to try and shed some of the weight off with tracking my step counts per-day and doing small daily workouts. I began doing this in April and will continue to do so until my work schedule won't allow for it anymore. But pleased to notice I have managed to shift some of the weight, which firstly started around the beginning of May. It was only towards the end of July and August that others also noticed my weight loss, so it definitely does take it's time. My goal was not to tell anybody until they mentioned it first, like this I would know for sure it's a truthful comment. While the fat is once again being stubborn to burn I still think I have to admit to myself that there as definitely been some progress, even if sometimes it doesn't feel like much as changed. There was also some slight muscle gain so I can't complain. I think I'm about %60 of the way to where I want to be overall, I did meet a good friend who said they could see a difference in weight loss but doesn't think any muscle was gained infact they claim it was lost, a little devastating to hear because I'm sure it's not correct. I managed to get in 3 workout days after being abit on and off, but with today I managed to do 4 workouts in a row, since my shift was late one I didn't have much time but I done a mini high intense session which now I'm wondering if I should be doing more of these now rather then the usual. As for steps we started the week very badly and so having reached a total today of 63k steps, out of the 105k weekly target, yup didn't reach target last week and probably won't this week either. Would you believe that a few days ago was actually my Steemit Birthday of 5 years!! I wanted to do something too celebrate it as I normally do but with possible redundancy just around the corner saving money is a priority. I really hope to be in a better place next year and like that I will definitely celebrate Steem with cake as I'm very grateful for all that this sites gives me, it's incredibly valuable.
