Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 19/4/2024, under the hood it's been a 7 year project.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content, plus I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller events.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price and recent Steemit changes for over 7 years.

There also as never been a single power down made on this account since that time "7 years", our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. All this rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earning rewards.

I'm sure we all want a better future for Steem and so casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all.

April 2024-Bitcoin reached over "70.000" again on March 25th and so the high season wasn't done just yet thankfully. We had yet another fall from Bitcoin but like you have likely witnessed there have been lately many bearish traps for investor to try and navigate. So who knows if it's truly over and I only mention bitcoin because it can be a indication on the direction that Steem will follow. However not a lot of movement from our own token this time round compared to previous years which is very sad. Perhaps we have to be more patient, others would argue that it almost doubled since it's bottom, and so while that was something to celebrate Steem as done much better in the past. However with that it also means that Steem itself is essentially still wide open "price wise" for the smart and small investors. Last night I went to sleep way past the usual late hour, which was disappointing but this was mostly because of a phone call with my friends followed by one with my father which set me back, not only that but after that I done some quick research for a project idea. When I did go to sleep it was very cold but I managed to fall asleep rather quickly, still I'm better prepared lately for the night by putting on a blanket over the sheets, surprisingly while it helps it isn't by much but it is usually enough to get me through the night but last night I had to add yet another sheet. The heating had only been only a while ago and so it's amazing how I still felt cold, and it was only yesterday that I dropped a bag of money for having that privilege as these companies continue to be greedy scum. When I did go to sleep I woke-up about 1 hour before my scheduled alarm which was set for a little later than usual as I wanted to make sure I get enough rest. I tried going back to sleep with little success but did also continue to just rest a little past the alarm as I wanted a good amount of rest so that I don't get sick again. As for the weather this morning unlike yesterday where it was indecisive today is nothing but gloomy, the sky filled with mostly dark clouds with sometimes drops of rain. I was lucky enough this morning to not have work and so resting for longer was not a problem, but I did want to start getting on with my chores. After getting most of those done I realised I still had a good amount of time and so decided to finally tackle setting up the new laptop. While this did take me a long time it's not actually that long if I had known what I needed in order to complete it. I'm honestly shocked and disturbed by the state of out technology these days, I'm well aware of how much information is tracked now but these latest laptops are nothing but full on spy machines, it's disgusting. I was even more surprised that with this new laptop in particular there is no way to by-pass not having to be connected to the internet, it's ridiculous what if you just want it as a form of writing or reading documents, to store pictures, to use software? Oh no you can't do any of that now without internet, or being forced to sign-up with a account with them even if you want or use ever any of their applications, they still force it down you how wonderful it all is even if you already know you won't use a single thing they are forcing you to use. It was a very frustrating yet funny and long desperate "their side" experience and it's amazing to think how many people will just simply agree to comply with all this nonsense. Initially neither did it let me use the services I wanted, how dare they keep deferring me from the products and services I have been using for years, like I just paid money to excess these things honestly is there no thought process to this anymore? Glad I done this one a day off I knew it was going to take a long time and I'm still not done with only a few finishing bits to have it fully ready I hope for any travelling. Yea I spoke to guy at work just as I left telling him I was taking a page from he's book after doing a few longer shifts that I would be taking some days off "not that we have any say on any of it" but it was a good opportunity to get this done. Later I looked over the weekly job sheet and saw I still had most of that one job to get done, I'm not sure what hit me because I definitely wasn't feeling it but I had a lot of energy and motivation to quickly get that completed. And so I did as it was my last day that I would be able to work on it, guess it's true that I could of left the job for my colleague but what if he doesn't do it? Yes which is why I thought it would be best to at least do most of it and stick my name next to it, today it will be up to my if he wants to fully complete it. During all the laptop nonsense I got some really bad news that my friend had been fired from work, stupid really when working in a place in dire need of staff it honestly makes no sense. But at least there are a few months of opportunity to find new work, I will likely visit tomorrow to find out more information. Later I still went on to meet with friends online which I wasn't expecting everybody to turn up but since I was busy helping a friend set-up some software we didn't get much time together. As for Steemit.com there as been talks about doing PR for the site which I'm sure as all been done before and while in one way adding more people could help the tokens value I believe it would be better to try and educate those who are already with us. And I don't mean education on content creation but on how the site and the token is valued, again not by content but by holding the token, buying etc. Others are working on updating the look of the Steemit.com website to something more "modern" I was very worried about this but the changes aren't anything drastic. They have got to the point were inviting alpha testers to try the work so far as been called for. What I would like to see is just easier excess to all parts of the website. Sometimes I feel have to be too much on the right page to get to where I want to go.. if that makes sense. Onwards there as been mostly promises of war happening everywhere, more countries are slowly getting and warning their citizens to prepare for war. Such a war in this day and age will be devastating and so we must continue to work to remain at peace and not fight in wars that don't belong to us. Before we finish I would like to ask if anybody can recommend any website to watch movies or series for free without a VPN, a upvote will be sent if it's good.
