Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 6/9/2024, under the hood it's been a 7 year project.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content, plus I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller events.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price and recent Steemit changes for over 7 years.

There as never been a single power down made on this account since that time "7 years", our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. All this rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earned rewards.

I'm sure we all want a better future for Steem and so casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all. Most of the players in the crypto sphere are only here for some quick and shady profits before they just decide to get up and disappear but we have been here for the long run and would like to see Steem remained a strong and reliable token.

Sept 2024-Bitcoin reached over "70.000" again on June 4th and so the high season isn't done just yet. But when is it likely to finish? When it reached 50k? I still thought we would of seen it fall further down but maybe we won't. And so who knows when the bullrun will be truly over, but 30k would be a good mark, I mention bitcoin because it can be a indication on the direction that Steem will follow. However sadly not a lot of movement from our own token this season, perhaps we have to be more patient as we wait on another possible alt coin season. But what this means for now is that Steem itself is still wide open price wise for the smart and smaller investors👍. Last night I went to sleep under the usual late hour, this was mostly due to taking longer preparing dinner. It was a good improvement but I still wanted to do a little better. Especially as I started to feel a little unwell "not the flu kind of way" but feeling run down which came a lot from the stress at work due to the new network system. When I did try to reach slumber there wasn't any difficulty to sleep, I was worried it being earlier that it might effect my sleep but the timing seems to have been good. Once sleeping I woke-up 5 minutes to my scheduled alarm, this was because of messages from work. The alarm was set for in-between the hours I usually start, this was to try and help me get my sleeping routine back on track. I rested for a while longer past the alarm which I'm glad about "if it makes me feel better" and it wasn't for that long. As for the weather this morning it was a little similar to yesterday with how dark it was, very cloudy no rain or mist this time and also no sign of the sun. Usually it will clear-up by the afternoon but lately it only gets partially clear, even with that it's been providing us with some good summer heat but not yesterday as it was actually cold. Temperature wise the heat was at a point where it was comfortable, and normally during the afternoon it gets a little too hot but this morning it was fine where as yesterday it got cold later! The slight late start to the day was not much of a problem as I didn't have work until later this is good as it will give me time to try and get some chores done. Not only that but I want to get more of the clothing packed for my trip but at the moment most of it is getting washed and dried. Which the rain yesterday was not helping with haha and so causing some delays. See I have friends who are still on holiday and others who are "preparing" to fly away again and so I have lots to get done as "like my friends" I want to start preparing a few things for when I go to visit my father. The reason for doing some of this now is to not panic later about having so much to do with little time left especially as work gets in the way. Not only that but it seems confirmed now that my friends will return before I leave and they will demand to meet. And so if I get these things done now I might have the time to still see them before I leave for my own trip. I'm feeling better about that horrible new system from work, I feel like in the end this system isn't exactly a improvement over the old one, it's just "new" like they gave us new equipment so it will work better for that reason but it doesn't actually work any better than the previous one. I have still not had time to look into loading all the files onto the new memory stick which will hold all the retros. I would like to update it from the glitchy one I have currently, since it's glitchy it's already many times over done wipes on files and so I will be glad to see it go. In the end I managed to get all my clothing packed as they were dry and ready to go. Yesterday I completed everything for my work laptop all the files and software, so now all that is left are the small last minute things to pack. That's the scary part it's to not forget anything haha. When my free time was up I had a quick small breakfast, before leaving I changed, got my bag set and then myself ready for work. On the way to work there was a improvement in weather, not with the dark clouds they remained but it was quickly getting warmer. Arriving to work I started to get worried as I couldn't see any of the guys who usually deal with setting-up the extra work. So I got started with setting-up the new system network and made a small mistake at the beginning but I quickly knew how to fix it. Around this moment I saw the guy who was going to be dealing with the extra work and thankfully it was the usual guy he finally returned. We was both glad to see each other and would likely catch-up later. Back on my floor once again the guy who usually makes he's escape when there is the extra work to be done was doing just that. Or so it seemed, he said he was leaving but he was pranking me however he was still going to be leaving earlier. This kind of backfired on him later as he was made to stay one extra hour longer. When it came to the weekly tasks this week I have been lucky, initially before they had them updated I had already started with a few things myself that I felt needed to be worked on at that moment. Well I was lucky enough that when the tasks were updated one of them I had already been working on and had mostly completed. And while that particular task was assigned to someone else "I stole it" and put myself down for it and completed it. My colleague was pleased when I told him that he won't have to bother with it. The next day as my boss talked about the first thing he wanted me to get done "I was already smiling" because it was a easy thing that was already placed on the task sheet. And so by doing that task "as instructed by my boss" I could essentially steal another job so assigning my name to it and taking the burden off another colleague for the week. I didn't bother with them today because there wouldn't be enough time between that and the extra work being set. Once I started I was amazed by how well the system was working for me and wonder what I had done differently. It worked really well for almost the entire shift, I say almost because it was only towards the end that it started spazzing. My colleague was quick to help me and show me how to fix the issues even if I did already know about it I kind of forgot exactly how you do it, because like I have been complaining about the past few days there is a trick to it... While there was a ton of extra work to be done it's been possible to complete it on previous days in the week however for whatever reason that just didn't happen this shift but we was dam close. I was glad when it was time to finish as I learnt the sad news that they will be closing down the floor I work on at the end of next month and moving us lower with the others. It's a bad business decision that will result in us making less money, and it's that which frustrates me and so tired of seeing bad decisions being made by idiots up top who have no clue about what they are doing. On the way home it was already very dark but the cool calm air was nice and the sky was actually relatively clear. When I got home it was too late to start on any chores, as for the quick work-out I had already done it earlier in the day Lastly I started to prepared dinner I also checked-in with my friends holidaying as they are finally coming back when the weekend is over, after I settled-in for the night. As for Steemit.com 📊 like I mentioned there was some progress on updating the look of the Steemit.com website to something more "modern". The changes aren't anything drastic thankfully, you can now experience this yourself as the updates are live. For me personally I feel like it helps certain things stand out more, however I still feel like navigation could be improved. Onwards there as been mostly promises of war happening everywhere, such a war in this day and age will be devastating and so we must continue to work to remain at peace and not fight in wars that don't belong to us.
