Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 9/5/2024, under the hood it's been a 7 year project.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content, plus I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller events.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price and recent Steemit changes for over 7 years.

There also as never been a single power down made on this account since that time "7 years", our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. All this rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earning rewards.

I'm sure we all want a better future for Steem and so casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all. Most of the players in the crypto sphere are only here for some quick and shady profits before they just decide to get up and disappear but we have been here for the long run and would like to see Steem remained a strong and reliable token.

If you tire of addictively looking at the charts every few minutes then instead just relax and look here for the average STEEM price for your daily plan or strategy.

May 2024-Bitcoin reached over "70.000" again on March 25th and so the high season isn't done just yet thankfully. We had yet another fall from Bitcoin which likely you have witnessed recently some of the many bearish traps for investors to try and navigate. So who knows when the bullrun will be truly over, I mention bitcoin because it can be a indication on the direction that Steem will follow. However not a lot of movement from our own token this time round compared to previous years which is very sad. Perhaps we have to be more patient, others would argue that it almost doubled since it's bottom, and so while that was something to celebrate Steem as done much better in the past. However that does mean that Steem itself is essentially still wide open price wise for the smart and smaller investors. Last night I went to sleep just under the usual late hour, disappointing since I really needed a earlier, this was because of being out with friends and mostly due to losing track of time when checking out a DLC. When I did go to rest it took me a little while to fall asleep, this was not so much because of the cold as last night was the first time this year I didn't need any extra layers or a blanket. However regulating temperature was still a little difficult and I believe at one point more towards the morning I got too hot, I also think the difficulty sleeping may have been because my mind was busy. When I did go to sleep I woke-up before my scheduled alarm, this was good in one way because there were a few things I needed to get done first thing, but I also needed as much rest as possible because I had a very long shift at work to get in for. And so I tried going back to sleep with little success and I think it was around this time that for some reason I got too hot, perhaps it was the sun or maybe the heating came on for whatever reason. The alarm was set for earlier than usual already so I must of woken-up a few hours before I needed to which is annoying as I want to make sure I get enough sleep so to not get unwell. I then woke-up to my alarm ringing I did continue to rest past it but only for a few minutes as I felt already awake after all the nonsense. As for the weather this morning it continues like the past 2 days lots of bright sunshine with a nice mostly blue sky, this morning however I had no doubts it was going to be a hot one. Soon as I got out of bed I had a few things I needed to get done before leaving this morning my time was very limited and so tried to also get ready for work at the same time. No time for some basic chores and when my free time was up no quick small breakfast it was straight out towards work. On the way it was still nicely sunny and today I didn't wear the extra layer but still had a fleece on and I felt fine with that, it seems most people were also being cautions this morning incase it gets chilly. Surprising really as just the other day many were already treating it as a summers day, I kept my eye to see if the man from the other day was sleeping under the bridge but nothing. Yes for some reason there was a man under one of the bridges sleeping, initially I thought he was perhaps a homeless man but the guy had all clean clothing on him. Either he was just literally sleeping under a bridge or he's freshly homeless. When I arrived into work my colleague who usually asks me to do some cover work explained to me how in the next few weeks he will be training to do the extra work. I couldn't help but smile and tell him in a sense he doesn't know what he is getting himself into. He told me that I wasn't being very encouraging or supportive off him but unlike other people I can't help but speak the truth. Once I done the cover work for him he also left me a "nice little job to do"... yes I'm being sarcastic. When I completed that I thought about doing something for the weekly tasks but the fact was I had enough to get done to fill out the paper work and so instead waited on the extra work. While on break I was surprised to learn it was not the usual guy who was organising the extra work, also I told my friends I was going to be calling them after work with updates on what the others have so far decided they are doing for the event that work won't let me attend. Returning to work it was not long until the extra was ready for us to get started on. It got really hot later but we continued with the work load and actually by the time I left there was no doubt the team would have the job completed, I think even before our time is up. On the way out and home for some reason the superiors decided to give me a medium sized lemon cake. What is the cake for you ask? No idea, I tried to ask but the superior just made some joke about making it herself even it it was of course clearly brought from the shops. I'm assuming it's for doing those longer shifts which is actually nice of them. Soon as I could I was ringing my friends, not to tell them about cake but to tell them about who was attending which event days. I mentioned being very annoyed checking over the weekly task sheet, I have a team assignment to complete. It's not because it's a group task that it annoys me but rather our task is basically to clear and close our space and so in turn giving us all less working space. This really annoys me because it's like there as been no thought into the repercussions of this move. For example during Christmas I know dam well we needed all that space and a lot more! It also means many more things are going to have to be organised differently as the extra work comes in and so taking us longer every time we have to do it. It just makes no sense and yet they always want us to be faster at our jobs? I'm not happy at all and will be voicing all my concerns, and I did just that when I spoke to a superior who was leaving. After my rant he informed me that the possible end plan is much worse, the morons at the top are after to close down the whole floor as it will save them more money. I guess in other words it continues with the whole theme of shutting us down, I think their plan is to do it slowly so that when it comes to it things will happen fast and of course we could all very likely no longer have a job. Still it's constantly because of these silly bad decisions that many companies have to face closure, that's right it's not always because of what you read on the papers, some rubbish about no business when the reality is because of the idiots at the top who have no clue. The bad news is that the Friday and Saturday are no go days for me to go to the event and that our last hope is on the Sunday which I will have to wait another week for the information to be available. Once I finished work I expected good weather on the way home because I started to feel too warm about 2 hours before leaving. Yes the sun was out but not as bright compared to the morning and I thought it would of been warmer out but then again it's like the end of the day. There was a few things I was going to get done on the way home and when I arrived home but since it was already so late it will have to leave it for another day. Yes I was finally able to see what my schedule would be for the Friday and Saturday of the event weekend, and annoyed I can't make it for any of those days as I will be working during all the event time. And so now my only last hope to attend any day of the event will be on the Sunday, but unfortunately to know that I'm going to have to wait another week to see what the overlords decide.. As for Steemit.com there as been talks about doing PR for the site which as all been done before and while in one way adding more people could help the value of Steem I believe it would be better to try and educate those who are already with us. And I don't mean education on creating content but rather on how the site and the token is valued "again not by it's content" but instead by holding Steem, buying etc. Others are working on updating the look of the Steemit.com website to something more "modern" I was very worried about this but the changes aren't anything drastic. They have got to the point of having alpha testers. What I would like to see is just easier excess to all parts of the website. Sometimes I feel have to be too much on the right page to get to where I want to go.. if that makes sense. Onwards there as been mostly promises of war happening everywhere, more countries are slowly getting and warning their citizens to prepare for war. Such a war in this day and age will be devastating and so we must continue to work to remain at peace and not fight in wars that don't belong to us. Before we finish I would like to ask if anybody can recommend any website to watch movies or series for free without a VPN, a upvote will be sent if it's good.
