Recipe : Fish Curry with Vegetables

Today I will share with you a recipe for cooking fish curry with vegetables. It can be cooked quickly and easily. The fish curry with vegetables is very tasty to eat and it is a nutritious recipe. The Bengalis love every recipe for fish curry. There is an amazing taste in the combination of vegetables and rui fish, you will not understand if you do not taste it once. So let's see what spices are needed to cook this delicious fish curry with vegetables and how to cook it.
Ingredients:
- Rui Fish - 800 gm
- Okra - 4/5 pieces.
- Potato - 4/5 pieces.
- Cumin paste - 1 teaspoon.
- Garlic paste - 1 teaspoon.
- Ginger paste - 1/2 teaspoon.
- Turmeric powder - 1 & 1/2 teaspoon.
- Dried chilli powder - 2 teaspoons.
- Coriander powder - 1 or 1/2 teaspoon.
- Salt - Quantitatively.
- Onion - 5 pieces.
- Raw pepper - 5/6 pieces.
Note - You can choose the number of spices according to your taste or you can add spices of your choice.
Process of cooking
Step 1: After cleaning the fish pieces in water, first smear the fish pieces with turmeric and fry them in oil. It is better to fry the fish pieces first, but you can also fry later if you want. Keep frying until the raw smell of fish is gone
Step 2: Once the fish pieces are fried well, place them on a separate plate. However, during frying, make sure that the fish does not become too fried. When it becomes a little reddish, the fish pieces should be removed and placed on a plate.
Step 3: You can add vegetables of your choice to the fish curry. I will tell you the recipe for how to cook with okra and potatoes. First, cut the okra into the size of your choice and clean it in water.
Step 4: Then take the number of potato pieces. It will be enough to take 4-5 potatoes.
Step 5: Add the necessary spices to the potato pieces. However, you can add potatoes and okra together and then you can add species if you want.
Step 6: Once the spices have been added, check to see if you have added all the spices. Because if you add spices after frying the vegetables, it does not taste good.
Step 7: Now you have to fry the onion pieces first. Fry the onion pieces well for 3-4 minutes.
Step 8: When the onion pieces turn a little red, stop frying the onion pieces, as it is time to leave the vegetables with the spices on the onion.
Step 9: After leaving the potato and okra pieces with the spices on the onion, stir them well so that the spices are mixed with the vegetables. In this way, the vegetables should be stirred for 4-5 minutes. Then the vegetables should be covered with a lid for a while.
Step 10: Once the vegetables are fried, add water to them. Sorry I couldn't take a picture. However, after 10 minutes of adding water to the vegetables, the fried fish should be left in the curry and cover the curry with a lid.
Final Step: Cook on medium heat for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, delicious fish curry with vegetables will be ready.
