"I am mother" stuff to think about
Recently we are hearing a lot about the Artificial Intelligence and also we hear a lot of opposite opinions, some like the idea of AI to take more tasks and also to get them more in our every day life but there are always other people who do not think that it is a good idea to give more space of our life for AI. We also saw many different movies with different scenario and saw two sides of it. When I hear anything about Artificial Intelligence that makes me unwillingly think about that movie that I watched few years ago but it is like it was yesterday, the movie is called "I am mother" and was produced in 2019 by Australian author Grant Sputore, if I made you already now curious I will tell you my impression about the movie.
The whole story is starting in far future and initially we can see only very modern likely lab with only robot that is moving around through the Lab and it feels like either it is a space ship of any place where the mankind is extinct. One moment robot is arriving to one station and selecting a little transparent ball with very young embryo from a cryo-chamber in it and letting this to develop, that is growing and one day a little baby girl is born and the robot is taking care of it like a real mother.
Like any child we depend of the first person who we meet and usually this is our mother or father. For little baby girl it was a Robot who fed a baby, was watching over night and changing nappies. Slowly it was a young baby who learnt the first steps and smile, her first words and first love that children have to their "mother". The robot taught a girl the ethics, teach her basis school knowledge and even dance a ballet. Also, she had some videos about the human lives, movies and documentaries telling that humanity is extinct because of a catastrophe. The daughter did everything what "mother" told but one day she found a little mouse that came through the the pipe system from outside, she was surprise to know that this mouse survive and that only meant that there is a live outside.
Another day there was a woman who appeared in front of the door of bunker and was wounded who wanted to get in and daughter allows her, woman told the girl that there was no catastrophe but the Robots like "mother" killed humans. "The mother" explained that humanity was destroying itself that is why AI who used Robots killed humanity in order to create new people and from birth was teaching them ethic. As the girl passed her test it was allowed for her to choose embryo and grow it as her brother. The girl also finds that she is a third baby and two previous babies were killed because they did not pass the test of "mother" that is why she does not trust "mother", she destroyed a Robot and now she has a little brother but also a lot of embryos who she needs to look after.
After watching this movie, I believe everyone thinks is it is really so that we human such species who creates conflicts, runs wars and do not learn from our own mistakes. Was then AI right trying to save us from ourselves and letting only those to live who passed ethic test. The question is if such selection will make the society better and will give a second chance for people to survive?
In my opinion, even if the first generation would be compliant with the rules there is no guarantee that their children will follow that and not rebel against the rules, that is what we experience in our modern live.

It was an exciting movie kept my attention. Regarding the future, its crazy :)
I can only confirm that, somehow I thought that it will be better future for girl living alongside with AI but on other hand I had a suspicion that it might not work, very exciting movie and quite realistic scenario :)
I think I really love these types of movies. They are educative and at the same time one has to learn about a whole lot of things also to apply to ones life
Yes, those movies have a lesson for all of us and the only the question is if we allow it follow that scenario or not,

Let's start by analyzing human behavior, our parents tell us one thing or another, however much of what we are we learned by imitating them.
In relation to artificial intelligence, I like that they are a help, but not that they do more than what I can do, I would say that it is 80% on my part and 20% that the artificial intelligence helps
