Every year we are anxious when the time is approaching the end of the financial year and new financial year that starts in April of each year. Since last two years we normal citizen paying more and more.
Last year it was a shock when we saw that our house insurance almost doubled and it was for everyone. First, I thought that it was a mistake but after phoning them was told that it is a new tariff and all the insurances increase their fees. Our insurance told us that in compare to others they are still the cheapest one. After contacting many others it was clear that it was the case. This year the % of what we pay went up for another 30% and it is incredible but there is no way to go and they know about that.
The same happening everywhere:
- car insurance, that is also increase their annual fee
- council tax that we were told will be frozen this year in UK despite of that we still have some increase of it
Income tax
When people are working they pay taxes, of course, we a re happy to pay because this way we contribute and to support our social system, we are paying for those who can not effort job, who are ill or old. The only problem is when the country decide to increase those taxes year after year and at the end the families pay more than they receive.
We still have our children who we need to give their education, make sure that they have food and clothes and we have warm homes.
It is sad that 22/23 the number of children in UK living in poor conditions increased by 30%. For those families who have low income children can receive free food and child support money.
This year the income tax in Scotland raised especially for middle class, many will try to work less so that they pay less taxes on other hand they need to pay living cost, the solution for some is downsizing moving from house to apartment and from being an owner of houses to renting it.
Since last few months it is also noticeable how the prices for food is going up, slowly but we start to feel it too. The reason economy is trying to catch up on inflation but what about salaries of people? At the moment there was no talk about but the financial year is just started so who know what will come.

@stef1, you have written on the topic the effect of economic hardships on families. It is alarming the way the price of everything is increasing daily and yet the salary of workers is still the way it was before the inflation.
It's only economic hardships that will push people from owning a house to renting a house because they can't pay for the taxes attached to it. I wish you success in this contest.
Thank you for verification and for moderation the challenge. It seems the inflation is everywhere in the world, some places where it is more noticeable and in other less. We just hope that next year will be better because that is what our government promise us better future.

So many families that have been broken and in fact a lot of lives lost in the families due to the economic hardship. The painful thing is most of the time it seems the government are not doing anything about it actually
I just want to ask you how many unemployed people are in your country at this time and what problems are they facing and how are you meeting your expenses and what does your father do? Be sure to let me know so that we can have an idea of what is going on in your country and in your country.
The cost of living and the economic hardship seems to be every where during this season and it actually looks like the government of some countries are not doing anything about it actually
The economic hardships are faced by almost every senior member of a family who is taking care of financial needs of his family. The inflation is increasing massively in the whole world which is creating a lot of problems for us because the government also increasing the GSTs and income tax.
