Celebration of Global Pizza Day - Home made Pizza!

 

Pizza is one of the favourite food for everyone and also recently there are many variation of toppings. It is one of the easiest food to prepare, because the common part is the base of Pizza although there are also few different type of bases:

• the original base of Pizza and let's say classical is thin dough, that usually quickly get ready in cooker. This is my favourite type of dough and this is what I usually do when baking

• there is a think base, more American version and you often can see it in "Pizza Hut"

• In some supermarkets you also can see the dough with cheese edge. It is quite delicious but you can imagine that it will be high in calories

For us in our family we also have our Pizza day but it does not need to be once a year. It is once a week, we simple decide for one fo the days at the end of a week and this time it was on Friday because it was my day off after 7 days of work with 4 long shifts.

 

Home made Pizza

 

It is one of my favourite thing to bakes Pizza, the first part of the day we buy all necessary ingredients and start with preparing a dough.

Here are what I use for that:

• flour
• dry yeast
• some water
• small amount of vegetable oil
• some salt

 

 

Two important ingredients that make the taste of Pizza very special are:

• onion, and
• garlic cloves

 

 

Garlic cloves and onion will be chopped into small pieces.

 

 

Here we have some toppings, I have chosen:

• pickled cucumbers
• red pepper
• champions

 

 
Everything is now also chopped into small pieces

 

 

Now it is a time to roll out dough on the baking tray*
 

 

Now all the toping will be placed on dough.
 

 

Now the time for cheese and some herbs

 

 

It is the time for nice Pizza dinner.
