Steemit Engagement Challenge | S7W1 | Easter Holiday

Easter holiday is one of the popular Christian Holidays and celebrates the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. For many, who are not religious but have children it is a fmaily holiday. If you ask any child what is Easter and what people will do, every child will tell you:
- to search for colourful eggs in garden that Easter bunny hidden there
That is why for us, adults it is a holiday-surprise that we love to prepare for our children.
The Origin of Easter Celebration |

When going back into the history of Easter and why we celebrate it. In the beginning I mentioned that this is a Christian Holiday and usually starts with “Good Friday” or in old origin “God’s Friday” that is before Easter Sunday, which is celebrated between 22 of March and 25 of April.
“Good Friday” people remember the day when Jesus was crucified and died for the sins of people. On Sunday following it, people celebrate resurrection of Jesus. Easter Monday is another day that the Easter holiday goes on.

For families Easter is a holiday when we would like to make our children happy with little surprises. Of course, those days the shops are full with different items dedicated to this holiday such as:
- colourful eggs in shops
- chocolate Easter eggs and Easter bunnies
- you can buy many toys as bunnies
- but also like one of my friend she made Easter eggs herself and presented as gift, that was very delicious.
On Sunday morning we usually spread in garden those colourful eggs, chocolates and toys. Of course kids think that was Easter bunny who visited the garden and hidden all the present. The kids will be given a basket and they start their search. They usually have a lot of fun.
Together with children we also then go to parks where they can find real bunnies but also some of the parks organise a big Easter eggs hunting, sometimes more than thousands are hidden in parks and kids spend their time there on fresh air playing and searching for eggs.
As adults we have Public Holidays from Friday to Monday, so all together there are 4 days that we have off, that is why it is also my favorite Holiday even now when our son is not a little kid anymore.
Since I joined Steemit I do a painting dedicated to Easter Holiday. Here I included some of them and hope you like them too.

Easter... it is not customary for us to include an Easter bunny in the holiday, but there is a tradition to paint chicken eggs and compete, whose is stronger :))

Пасха... у нас не принято включать пасхального зайца в праздник, но есть традиция красить куриные яйца и соревноваться, чьё крепче :))
Да Пасха празднуется везде по разному, самое главное чтобы дети были рады и заняты в нашем случае, поиком подарков в саду :)
Вот у нас такой традиции нет. Яйцами стучат, у кого крепче ))) а про кролика...так его вообще нет :(
Разве что на столе у кого :)
Да помню, мы тоже стучали яйцами, у кого разобьется а у кого до конца додержится. Кстати, я тебе в дискорд сообщение сбросила :)
