The Diary Game #62: 14/12/24: Working on weekend and Christmas trees

Hello my dear Steemians,

 

Today is end of the week Saturday, normally it is weekend and often I am off on that day, but this weekend I had to work. But it is not something unusual and often we do such shifts. sometimes well planned and we know about that in advance, other times it is something that happens suddenly and we just need to help out to cover some shifts and to help each other.

The day for me started as usually working day and 7:30 AM I am in front of hospital, you can see that is our main entrance, a lot of light and some people those who finished their shifts and going home and others who just starting their day like me today.

 

 

When we look to the side we can see the Christmas tree that was erected a week ago with lights on once it becomes dark. The tree is not really big and actually the shape of the tree was not really typical three-angular as it supposed to be. Once the lights on then the tree looks very festive. I also like the projection of the stars on the wall of the building in the background.

What I like in such public places during festive time that people who work in those organisations will be decorating everything to make it extraordinary. One of the commonest thing that you can see in hospitals are Christmas trees

That is why while we have to work on wards, doing ward rounds, taking bloods, dressings and often to speak to patients and their families. We also chase results of investigations and explain to patients..

These days the whole festive environment makes it easy for us to get over our responsibilities. My favourite thing is to enjoy the beauty of the Christmas trees.

 

 

This is the corridors early morning and it looks empty because patients are all sleeping and it is shortly before busy life of a ward will start.

 

 

This tree is with white artificial snow and such decorations looking like a tree that was outside in winter and snowy weather. This is my favourite one.
 

 

Here are couple of decorations on our wall, a Snowman that is mandatory for Christmas time. Despite of being a ward for adults, we still have sometimes visitors as children and they are happy to see these funny characters on wall.
 

 

Here is another decoration that was done by our nurses, I love it!

 

 

After the day was over you can see again it is dark and again all the visitors gone, that means we also can go home. I am glad that my day is over and it is time for my Weekend!
