Betterlife with Steem || The Diary Game (17.03.2024) |A day of Ramadan and celebration of national children day in my community

Assalamualaikum everyone ,

I hope all are in good health and and blessed during this sacred time of Ramadan. With each passing day of holy month with fasting and prayer , I am reminded of the boundless blessings bestowed upon us by the grace of Allah . Today , I feel compelled to offer you a glimpse into a typical day in my life as both a dedicated housewife and an active member of our cherished welfare community during this auspicious time.

The day began with a slightly later start than usual. The early hours of the morning slipped away quickly after Sehri, leaving me a bit reluctant to rise from my slumber. Nevertheless, as I woke up, I commenced my regular activities, mindful of my fast but also responsible for preparing breakfast for my daughter. As she sat beside me , engrossed in her newfound love for coloring , I couldn't help but marvel at her innocent joy. Even though her strokes may not form perfect lines, her enthusiasm for creativity fills my heart with warmth. As a mother, I cherish these moments and strive to nurture her interests.

Amidst the morning chores , I had an event to attend. It was the great 17th of March , the birth anniversary of our beloved father of the nation , "Bongobondho Sheikh Mujibur Rahman". In our welfare community , dedicated to the well-being of women and children , we organized activities to commemorate this significant occasion. For the children, we arranged an essay writing competition , encouraging them to delve into the life and legacy of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Additionally , a documentary exhibition showcased pivotal moments from his life. Witnessing the children's engagement and enthusiasm, even during Ramadan, filled me with pride. This day holds particular significance as it is also celebrated nationwide as "Children's Day."

After the event concluded in the afternoon, I hurried back home to tend to my daughter, ensuring she had her shower and lunch. With the afternoon prayer completed, I allowed myself some much-needed rest, feeling a tinge of fatigue from the day's activities. As Asar approached, I resumed my duties, preparing for Iftar. Anticipating a busy evening, I had prepped most of the dishes beforehand, making the final touches effortless. Knowing my husband's preference for fried items during Iftar, I quickly fried them up, adding to the spread.

Following a fulfilling Iftar and evening prayers , my husband and I indulged in a moment of relaxation, visiting a nearby tea stall for a cup of tea. As we sat there , savoring the tranquility of the evening , I couldn't help but feel grateful for the blessings of community , celebration, and reflection that filled my day.

In the tapestry of Ramadan, each day weaves its own story of gratitude, service, and devotion. May Allah continue to bless us all throughout this holy month and beyond.
