"This is my story where Sorry saved the situation"
Hello my steemian friends,
This is my participation in the Contest Alert: Tell your story - Sorry! A Word That Unites hosted by @ngoenyi in Steem Kids & Parents
This is really a wonderful competition organized by the respected organizer madam, this word sorry is such a word which helps a lot in reducing even the biggest animosity.
Sometimes people make small things big due to their self-respect or stubbornness and it results in very serious adverse effects. But a small but very important word "Sorry" sometimes plays a very big role in reducing or ending big fights, knots in the heart, anger, big battles.
My story is also related to this word sorry. I was the administrative officer of a big hospital of 500 B.Ed. of my department [Medical and Health], and I had to prepare for an inspection and meeting in the hospital. Some high ranking officials were to attend this meeting from the headquarters, and I had to devote a lot of time for its elaborate arrangements. And due to this, I was feeling a bit annoyed and irritated with the workload. The day of the meeting and inspection was very near and many of my works were still pending.
During these days, a very young and brand new hospital manager had also joined my hospital as a contractual worker. Such newcomers are told during their training that when they join the job, the entire hospital will work under them, and they also have the enthusiasm for the new work, while they do not know that the role of government administrative officers is important and responsible.
That day we were doing a mock drill of our final preparations, and our new manager was also included in it. Being an administrative officer, everyone there was ready to follow my instructions, but this new manager was trying unsuccessfully to interfere in my work by pointing out the shortcomings in my every instruction, and this made me angry and I scolded her a little loudly in front of everyone, that girl got up from there and sat on her seat and started crying loudly.
After two days, the inspection and meeting were done successfully, my work pressure also ended, and I was sitting very relaxed, then that new manager entered my room with a paper and as soon as she came, she said this is my resignation, send it to the headquarters.
I asked her to sit very lovingly and took the paper from her and kept it in my upper pocket, and called my orderly and asked him to give me a glass of water and tea. Then I said to her, look you are like my daughter. "Yes, it is my mistake. I should not have scolded you in front of everyone. I am really sorry." Sorry my dear. Now is the time to work together.
You have a very long job ahead of you, you have to face many good and bad things in the job. I told her in very emotional words that I did not wish bad for you at all.
Then I saw tears in her eyes and I tore her resignation and threw it away. Later she became my very obedient manager and together we transformed the hospital. She turned out to be very promising and knowledgeable.
We worked together very well for the next 5 years.
I also want to invite here @aviral123 @haidee and @paholags
Thanks for reading my post, I pray to God for the progress and happy future of all Steemians.

¡Saludos amigo!🤗
'Perdón' es una palabra súper libertadora y, aunque no es tan fácil decirla, debemos darle la oportunidad de expresarla cuando sea necesario y, por supuesto, recibirla si es el caso.
Te deseo mucho éxito en la dinámica... Un fuerte abrazo💚
Wow imagine how just the word sorry saved a situation that could have cost the company a lot. It truly helps in strengthening bonds and keeps lasting friendships

What a powerful story about the impact of a simple "sorry".Your experience as an administrative officer in a hospital of highlights how easily the misunderstandings and hurt feelings can arise, especially in high-pressure situations. But it's how you handled the proper fully situation afterward that's truly inspiring.By acknowledging your mistake, apologizing sincerely, and showing empathy, you not only saved your working relationship with the new manager but also transformed her into a valuable team member.Your story demonstrates that apologies can be a powerful tool for everyone to healing, growth, and even transformation.
