I am interested in setting up a Steem witness so I will try to learn what goes into it. Also @dlike is a great new app for quick posting to the steem blockchain.

I am trying to understand the witness thingy.
Linux, ubuntu and a little eye on coding. With the witness you need to have a node to keep #steem up and running.
It is not hard it is just time consuming and you will be a true steemian.

They always say "Don't invest more than you can lose.", yet they blame you. They say we need to take personal responsibility to come up in America, yet they blame you for their decisions. Why not get some more non technical witnesses in there? Also everyone likes Trevon anyways. I mean he gets consistent upvotes from DLive which is delegated power from Steemit INC.
I actually think Steemit INC should hire him. He could be the CIO and VP of marketing as well.
I'm not sure I quite understand what you mean by 'territorial'? It's the internet, you post good content it gets upvoted, you post spam-related content you get flagged. Sure people will abuse this, but there also needs to be counter-measures to ensure they can't be abused.
