Please don't - Steem doesn't need the negative PR associated with you after the bitconnect dramas.
Blog away, earn that way - trying to make a decent witness income without large stakeholder support will be difficult.

Why not get some more non technical witnesses in there? Also everyone likes Trevon anyways. I mean he gets consistent upvotes from DLive which is delegated power from Steemit INC.
I actually think Steemit INC should hire him. He could be the CIO and VP of marketing as well.
