I discovered this OS thanks to a video from Linus Tech Tips. TempleOS is built for people who want to tinker with their devices and there are some very clever things built into the code. Unfortunately the story of Terry A. Davis, the genius behind the OS is a tragic one.

TempleOS (formerly J Operating System, SparrowOS and LoseThos) is a biblical-themed lightweight operating system designed to be the Third Temple prophesied in the Bible. It was created by American programmer Terry A. Davis, who developed it alone over the course of a decade after a series of manic episodes that he later described as a revelation from God.
