The Diary Game [28/01/2026] Preparing for a family friend’s father’s burial.

Hello @everyone accept my warm greetings from this end of globe. Today happens be be my off day from work but turn out to be a very busy day.Preparing for a family friends father’s area. The father died last Monday which makes the whole story pathetic.the father has been sick for some time .But, on Monday the lord called him to rest .May his soul rest in peace 🙏 🙏.

This our family friend that the father died has been dear to us and a good family friend .We always bond together and stand for each other in times of good and difficult moments.The fathers burial has been programmed to take place on Saturday 31/01/2026.

We had a meeting how the burial will look and which area he will like me to assist . He pleaded with me I will make fried chicken and fried fresh fish. That will be use to entertain entertained people during refreshments for the father’s burial .I agreed I will take time and fry the things today .Early in the morning at 7:30am I was already at the cold store to buy fish .

Luckily the fresh fish I wanted available I paid for two carton of fresh fish .I had a bike rider that knows my place very well .I had give the fresh fish to him to take it to my place. I remained and bought other ingredients I will used to spiced the chicken and fish to fry .

I was to collect the slaughtered chicken and cut in to desirable sizes from our friend compound .I arrived when they were already rounding up with the cutting of the fowl’s .I waited for some few minutes and they were done .Later, I carried the chicken insides a big rappen tied .Moved to the roadside and a cab to my destination .

I arrived when one of my sister was already home with the friend to assist .The work was too much so I needed a helping hand to make the fried chicken and fresh fish fast . They were almost done fixing fishi.

Later, I joined them and I was cutting it into slices .It was so easy as I didn’t find any difficult in doing . After , I was done I had to washed the chicken and spiced to be fried .I had to allowed the spices to marinate in the chicken for 10minutes before boiling .

When was about to start frying the chicken I made fire boiled it for some time before frying the chicken .I took me about 2hours to be done frying the chicken .I had to make it dry well since it will be use on Saturday.

Finally, when I was done frying the chicken .I had to start frying fresh fish .I already spiced and sun it for some time .For the spices to marinate in the well .Its took me some hours to fry the fresh fish .

When I was done frying the fish had to allowed it for some time to get cold .Both the chicken and fried fish to get dry before I put them inside a carton .Later I arranged inside a cartons and sealed .

I had to freshened up hurry and give the frying chicken and fish to our family friend home .He is not far from me I rush to his place and gave them .luckily I arrived when he was present with the wife .They were so happy and appreciated me .I told them to that was my way of helping them with work for the father’s burial .

At around 7:00pm, I was already back home .Feeling very tired and exhausted.I had to go to bed early as tomorrow is my working day . Yesterday was all about preparing for a family friend father’s burial . Am happy all the programmed for yesterday as planned was fulfilled🙏🙏🙏.
