This is Why I Don't Use BRAVE Browser
Since the launch of brave Browser, there has always been a lot of noise and hype about it. In fact it started even before its launch because of its association with the JavaScript creator and Mozilla Corporation co-founder, the legendry Brendan Eich. When its ICO raised $35M in less than 30 seconds, my jaws dropped.
About a couple of years back, when I first installed Brave Browser, I wasn't that impressed with it. The browser was too heavy to load at my end and failed to its faster browsing USP. Nor was my country supported for BAT rewards at that time. I had to uninstall it soon. In the following year I had installed and uninstall it at least thrice. I still have it in my laptop but it never became my browser of choice.
Lately, some communities on Hive are also promoting this browser. But after the introduction of tipping feature in Peakd interface, it hardly matters.

With the recent controversy of unknowingly pushing its user to Binance with their referral link, I've lost all the trust in it.
I applaud that Brendan Eich is trying to respond and explain it to everyone but somehow I'm not convinced.
I don't want to go into any explanation about it or the one about collecting YT donations on behalf of YouTubers without their consent (or in spite of their dissent).
Thankfully, we are living in a free market and have got several choices of browsers in this crowded browser market.

I don't think it's fair to shame Brendan Eich when he reverted a feature which had no ethical issues but users didn't want. I personally think it's still an incredible product which has immense potential and won't be using anything else till a much superior product hits the market.
