BATTLE MAGE SECRETS Weekly Challenge! RULESET: Equal Opportunity

ABOUT: Equal Opportunity:

Equal Opportunity is a ruleset in Splinterlands battles in which all monsters gain the opportunity ability that allows them to attack the unit with the lowest health on the enemy team.

Battle Ruleset:

There were three battle rulesets Back To Basics, Equal Opportunity, and Fire and Regret. The allowed mana cap was 38 and two splinter summoners were not active in this battle Fire and Water Splinter.

Battle Summoner

I have chosen "QUIX THE DEVIOUS" as a Summoner for this battle. It is a Legendary Dragon Splinter Summoner from the Chaos Legion edition, and it costs 4 mana. This summoner has two abilities that can reduce the range attack and speed of enemy team monsters by 1 each. I decided to use this summoner because it allows me to use other splinter cards alongside the dragon splinter cards. For this battle, I have chosen to use Earth Splinter monsters under this summoner. I have a level 2 summoner, and I can use up to level 5 common cards under it. I have upgraded it to level 2, and it has proven to be effective for me in battles.

1. PELACOR MERCENARY:

I used PELACOR MERCENARY in the first position, a reward edition Earth splinter monster. It costs 7 mana, has a -2 melee attack, and Flying ability at level 1. I have upgraded it to level 4, improving its melee attack to -3. I don't mostly use it in my battles but when there is an odd mana ruleset I don't skip it for the first position.

2. FLESH GOLEM:

In the second position of my Earth Splinter lineup, I use the beta edition common melee attack monster called "Flesh Golem". This monster costs 6 mana and has a -2 melee attack, but it also has a Heal ability at level 1. I chose to place it in the second position due to its melee attack and the Equal Opportunity ruleset. I have upgraded it to level 4, which increases its melee attack from 2 to 3. I mostly use it in the first position because of its Heal ability and -3 melee attack.

3. XENITH MONK:

In the third position, I have used a rare melee attack monster from the Neutral Splinter called XENITH MONK. It is a Chaos Legion edition card that costs 4 mana, has a -1 melee attack, and gains a Heal ability at level 2. I placed it in the third position because of the "Equal Opportunity" ruleset. Currently, I am using a level 2 XENITH MONK and it works great for me in low mana battles.

4. GOBLIN MECH:

In the fourth position, I placed a GOBLIN MECH which is a common melee attack monster from the Neutral splinter of the reward edition. I really like this monster and most of the time I use it in the first position due to its high melee damage and Piercing ability. In this battle, I also used it because of its high melee attack that can attack from any position. I have upgraded it to level 5 for the -5 melee attack.

5. CHAOS AGENT:

In the fifth position, I used the CHAOS AGENT, which is a Chaos Legion edition common no-attack monster from the Neutral Splinter. It costs 1 mana and has a Dodge ability at level 1. I used this monster in battle because it only cost 1 mana and had 2 health. It's currently at level 2 and works well for me.

6. VENARI KNIFER:

In my sixth position, I used the "VENARI KNIFER", a common melee attacking monster from the Earth Splinter of Chaos Legion edition. The monster costs 6 mana and comes with a Thorn ability at level 1. I placed it in the last position due to its -3 melee attack. I don't usually use this monster and currently have the monster is at level 1.
