ABSTRACT GAZE

Today, as often happens with me, my photographs have moved away from purely street scenes and also from the nature and countryside of my surroundings. Today, on the contrary, I express through my photos my particular perception of the abstraction that occurs around me. I can confidently say that these photos are all about "myself" observing what others might not see, thinking about colors that can be used for composition, intuiting shapes, shadows, and light, imagining the visual result after a few adjustments and changes. So, I can also say that it's me improvising with what I have and understand until I transform it. That's more or less the concept and meaning of these photos, which are somewhat of a hybrid of reality, imagination, and experimentation..
