Why pretty is it relative?

Beautiful. One magic word girls love-unless it's addressed to another girl. The point is, all girls want to be beautiful. Some say, if Beautiful is relative, while the Ugly is absolute. Reasonable hell, because the beauty is indeed relatively bener. So Why pretty is it relative?anybody know?
