PRAYER AGAINST ENVY

Key Scripture: And from that day Saul was looking with envy on David (I Samuel 18:9)

THOUGHTS
Envy is an ugly emotion that rises up in you when you discover you lack the superior quality, achievement or possession in other people. Envy is terrible, because it will make you to do some stupid things. Search your heart and watch your reactions to the good qualities in other people. Sometimes, you may not want to admit it. But in the privacy of your heart, watch yourself keenly. Be open to yourself. Do you wish others bad? Are you really happy with a talented person? What is your reaction towards people who are more physically endowed than you? How do you feel when other people are praised? How do you feel when others get more attention than you? When your business partner is selling more than you, how do you feel? Ask the Lord to help you overcome your envy.
