Today I am completing my Achievement 3 (Verification) by sharing what I have learned about Steemit, how it works, and how to use my keys safely. I am excited to continue growing in this amazing blockchain-based platform.

🔍 1. What I Learned About Steemit

Steemit is a decentralized social media and blogging platform where users can earn rewards in STEEM, SBD, and SP by creating content, commenting, and engaging with the community.

What makes Steemit special:

It is built on blockchain

Content is rewarded by community support

Users have full ownership and responsibility for their accounts

It encourages creativity, learning, and positive engagement

🔐 2. Understanding Steemit Keys (Very Important)

Steemit uses multiple private keys, each with a different purpose.
Here is what I learned:

🔸 Posting Key

Used for posting, commenting, upvoting.
(Safest key to use daily)

🔸 Active Key

Used for wallet transactions, power-up/down, and transferring STEEM/SBD.

🔸 Owner Key

Highest-level key.
Used only for recovering the account or changing other keys.
(Must be stored offline and NEVER used casually)

🔸 Memo Key

Used to encrypt or decrypt memos in transfers.

🚫 Security Responsibility

Never share keys with anyone

Store keys offline

Use Posting Key for daily activity

Use Owner Key only in emergency situations

I fully understand that I am responsible for the security of my account.
