What is Plagiarism
Plagiarism means using someone else’s ideas, words, or content without giving proper credit to the original author. It is considered unethical and is not allowed on platforms like Steemit because users are expected to share original content.
Types of Plagiarism:
Direct Plagiarism – Copying someone’s work word-for-word without credit.
Self-Plagiarism – Reusing your own previously published content without mentioning it.
Mosaic Plagiarism – Mixing copied phrases with your own words without proper citation.
Accidental Plagiarism – Forgetting to cite sources or giving incorrect credit.
