자르는 도구로도 바퀴가 이용된다. 전기톱, 피자 커터기, 곡물 수확기 등이 있다.
일상 생활에 있는 바퀴는 시계 태엽, 빵만들 때 쓰는 밀대, 페인트 칠하는 롤러 등이 있다.
물레 방아나 풍력발전기 등도 바퀴이다.
