Lumina is having a hard time... but God is with us.

Today was tough, Lumina began having seizures at 4am and she hasn't stopped all day.

Her medicines are not working as we might hope and she is throwing up all the food she eats.

We have asked friends and family for prayer. We ask the same of you all.

She is at home, this is a gift. She is with her family and this is a gift. She is strong and happy despite her pain, and these are gifts.

God is with us

He is Immanuel.

Matthew 1:23 English Standard Version (ESV)

23 “Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son,
and they shall call his name Immanuel”
(which means, God with us).

We know Him and He loves us.

We praise God because we need Him so desperately and He stands in the fire, He carries our burdens and He stands in the flame with us.

Hope has a name...

Praise His name. Amen.
