Po ostrych mrozach znowu odwilż, czyżby wiosna za progiem?
I felt a bit strange this morning, as I was expecting a hard frost. But then, a surprise of plus 1°C (3°F), and during the day, the temperature jumped to plus 3°C (3.2°F). It might not be a temperature freakout, but the thaw does herald spring. According to the long-range forecast, it's supposed to get warmer every day.
Trochę dziwnie się poczułem dzisiaj rano, bo spodziewałem się jeszcze tęgiego mrozu. A tu niespodzianka plus 1 stopni, a w ciągu dnia temperatura podskoczyła do plus 3 stopni. Może to nie jest jakieś temperaturowe szaleństwo, ale jednak odwilż zwiastuje wiosnę. Według prognoz długoterminowych, z dnia na dzień ma być coraz cieplej.
Admittedly, this weather, with practically no sun and water underfoot, isn't ideal for a walk, but I had to get my miles in. Despite everything, it was okay.
Co prawda taka pogoda, praktycznie bez słońca i wodą pod nogami nie jest idealną na spacer, ale swoje kilometry musiałem odbębnić. Mimo wszystko było ok.
The birds showed up in force today. I messed up a bit because I ran out of peanuts. Today I'll take an evening walk to the market and buy some more peanuts to last until the end of the week.
Ptaszki dzisiaj pojawiły się w komplecie. Trochę nawaliłem, bo zabrakło mi orzeszków. Dzisiaj odbędę wieczorny spacer do marketu i kupię trochę więcej orzeszków, tak aby starczyło do końca tygodnia.
