Piątek jeszcze wiosenny, ale czuć już powrót zimy

Today, the temperature was still above freezing during the day, but there was a hint of icy air. There was also a bit of sunshine, so the walk was quite enjoyable.

Dzisiaj temperatura w ciągu dnia była jeszcze dodatnia, ale czuć było powiew lodowatego powietrza. Było też trochę słońca, więc spacer był całkiem udany.

The snow had completely melted, leaving only a layer of ice on the pond. And it was thick enough that anglers were still walking on it. I have a feeling this thick layer of ice will remain until spring.

Śnieg stopniał zupełnie, pozostała jedynie pokrywa lodowa na stawie. I to na tyle gruba, że wędkarze śmiało jeszcze po niej spacerowali. Coś mi się wydaje, że ta gruba warstwa lodu pozostanie aż do wiosny.

The birds arrived today in their entirety. They were all fed as usual. It seems the next few days will be difficult and frosty for them again.

Ptaki dzisiaj przybyły w komplecie. Wszystkie zostały nakarmione jak zwykle. Chyba następne dni będą znowu dla nich trudne i mroźne.
