W nocy mróz, a w dzień odwilż - taka zima
A quite pleasant day with plenty of sunshine and temperatures above freezing. A perfect Friday for a long walk. And so it turned out.
Całkiem przyjemny dzień z dużą ilością słońca i temperaturą na plusie. Idealny piątek na długi spacer. Tak też się stało.
The surface of the "Morocco" pond is covered with a layer of ice the likes of which I haven't seen in at least 20 years. You can walk on it without fear of the ice breaking. In the coldest years, the ice on the pond has remained until June. I wonder what it will be like this year, as we're yet to witness another bout of Siberian frosts.
Powierzchnia stawu "Maroko" pokryta jest warstwą lodu, jakiej nie pamiętam od co najmniej 20 lat. Można po niej spokojnie chodzić, bez obawy, że lód się załamie. W najmroźniejsze lata, lód na stawie utrzymywał się nawet do czerwca. Ciekawy jestem jak będzie w ty, roku, bo przed nami jeszcze kolejny atak syberyjskich mrozów.
The snow is still perfect for building snowmen. I think we'll have a few more in the park after the weekend.
Śnieg dalej idealnie nadaje się do lepienia bałwanów. Myślę, że po weekendzie trochę ich w parku przybędzie.
The birds were very lively and energetic today, as if sensing spring. But unfortunately, spring is still a long way off. Nevertheless, they were all fed and certainly satiated, because, like yesterday, they didn't eat all the peanuts and sunflower seeds.
Ptaki dzisiaj były bardzo żywe i dynamiczne, jakby wyczuwały wiosnę. Ale niestety do wiosny jeszcze daleka droga. Niemniej wszystkie nakarmione i na pewno nasycone, bo podobnie jak wczoraj, nie zjadły wszystkich orzeszków i słonecznika.
