Saturday cloudy with a slight thaw
Today was overcast from morning until evening. It was hard to wait for the sun. But that didn't stop us from enjoying a winter walk. There weren't many people in the park, so it was relatively quiet and peaceful.
Dzisiejszy dzień był pochmurny od rana do wieczora. Próżno było wypatrywać słońca. Ale nie przeszkodziło to w zimowym spacerze. Ludzi w parku niewielu, dlatego było w miarę cicho i spokojnie.
There is little life on the pond except for anglers trying their hand at ice fishing, which is not easy because usually floats are not used, only delicate lures, and you have to feel the bite of the fish.
Nad stawem życia niewiele poza wędkarzami próbującymi swoich sił w łowieniu podlodowym, co nie nie jest łatwe, bo zazwyczaj nie używa się spławików, tylko delikatne przynęty, a branie ryby trzeba wyczuć.
The birds were fed today, as usual. They received sunflower seeds and a generous amount of peanuts. They came flocking, and seemed happy.
Ptaszki dzisiaj jak zwykle nakarmione. Dostały ziarna słonecznika i spora ilość orzeszków ziemnych. Przyleciały gromadnie, i chyba były zadowolone.
