Pustynia Wadi Rum - dzień drugi #3

This is my third Wadi Rum desert safari report, but not my last. There are so many places worth writing about, so I've broken this desert report into several sections—four to be exact.

To już 3 relacja z safari po pustyni Wadi Rum, ale nie ostatnia. Ilość miejsc, które warte są opisania jest ogromna, dlatego też relację z pustyni rozbiłem na kilka wątków, dokładnie na 4.

Over six hours in the desert, even though the journey was by car, was very tiring and, by the end, tedious. If you're exploring the desert, I recommend splitting this safari into two days.

Ponad 6 godzin na pustyni, mimo iż podróż odbywała się samochodem było bardzo męczące, a pod koniec nużące. Gdyby ktoś zwiedzał pustynie polecam rozbicie takiego safari na dwa dni.

Our next destination in the Wadi Rum desert is the "Stone Mushroom." It's essentially a geological curiosity, a sandstone formation resembling a mushroom cap. It's an Instagrammable spot, pretty but nothing special.

Kolejny nasz cel na pustyni Wadi Rum to "Kamienny grzyb". To w zasadzie ciekawostka geologiczna w postaci piaskowca przypominającego kapelusz grzyba. Takie miejsce instagramowe, ładne ale bez szału.

Our next destination was a source of natural dye with a very high iron content. It was a natural rock dye with a characteristic deep red color. Let's just say it was a so-so attraction, especially since the sun was beating down on us and we were looking forward to some shade and rest.

Następny cel, to źródło naturalnego barwnika o bardzo wysokiej zawartości żelaza. Stanowił on naturalny barwnik skalny, o charakterystycznym mocno czerwonym kolorze. Powiedzmy sobie że to taka sobie atrakcja, tym bardziej, że słońce dawało nam się we znaki i czekaliśmy na jakiś cień i odpoczynek.

Another interesting fact is that this desert plant was used for washing. When exposed to water and vigorous rubbing, it produced a rich lather and had a pleasant scent.

Kolejna ciekawostka, to pustynna roślina, której używano do mycia. Ponieważ pod wpływem wody i intensywnego pocierania silnie się pieniła i miała przyjemny zapach.

This over six-hour jeep adventure in the Wadi Rum desert will remain in my memory forever, for it's an extraordinary place, with extraordinary landscapes and people. I didn't truly experience the beauty of this place until a few days after returning home, but that's the case with most of my trips – everything comes to me with a delay.

Ta ponad 6-cio godzinna przygoda jeepem na pustyni Wadi Rum zostanie w mojej pamięci na zawsze, bo to niezwykłe miejsce, niezwykłe krajobrazy i ludzie. Tak naprawdę piękno tego miejsca poczułem dopiero kilka dni po powrocie do domu, ale tak z większością moich podróży - wszystko dociera do mnie z opóźnieniem.
