Hello everyone 😻,

Happy Thursday 🎊 and a very warm welcome to my report. As always thank you for stopping by, am just about to break down my stepping of the day and also share some of the trending stories.
Let's get into it 💨.
So today, there was no rain and I made the most of it with a quick short morning walk around the neighborhood.
At first it was a fully cloudy morning but in 15 to 20 minutes, the sun 🌞 shone through for a tiny little while. I headed back indoors for the usual house chores here n there.
My ñext stepping came at around noon, going out for groceries to get the lunch going. Still a cloudy day with a cold breeze.
I did finish off the day, with a quick walk around the park this evening. Very chilly outside but I was dressed warmly🥶😹.
So that was the stepping and now let's get into the global trending stories.
The blood bath continued in Gaza with 71 Palestinians killed across the strip😿. Israeli airstrikes mainly targeted residential areas🙀.
Meanwhile, US national security advisor, Jake Sullivan met with PM Netanyahu in Israel as a push for ceasefire talks for Gaza continued.
More diplomatic moves as US secretary of state Anthony Blinken visited Jordan and later Turkey. There's intense diplomacy around Syria now that the Assad regime has fallen.
Speaking of Syria, the newly appointed PM, Mohamed Al Bashir, has been meeting members of the former govt to facilitate a smooth transition.
Much of Syria's infrastructure has been damaged or destroyed after more than 13 years of civil war 🙀.
In the other war, Russia is inching ahead in eastern Ukraine as Trump warned of aid cuts🙀.
Speaking of Trump, he has been named Time magazine person of the year. Today he was in New York at the opening of the stock exchange. Congratulations🎊.
Congratulations too🥳 to Indian teenager Gukesh, who has become the youngest ever world chess champion after beating china's Ding Liren in a dramatic turn.
Gukesh, 18 years, is four years younger than the former record holder, Garry of Russia, who was 22 when he won the title in 1985.
Once again congrats🎊, well done🎉. Wishing him the very best💯.
